Too awkward, this is a puzzle game not a defence game, theres no stratergy to it when there's only a few set ways of doing it...

1/5 This has some major potential but it's too difficult.
If your help section says "why you always lose on the first level" I think you did something wrong.
Bottom line is there only seems to be one way to advance and win, so the game is figuring out that one option by trial and error. Not fun. Give us better options to develop our own defenses!

It's very frustrating to instantly lose when a boss gets through, especially when the only thing that appears to be able to kill them effectively are nukes and by the time you get the second boss (the ultralisk) you've only received one nuke.

some points that I would ciricize:
A nuclear bomb is killing all of the enemies, but no harm is done to ones units.
the accuracy of the mechs is abhorrently bad.
very little opportunity to respond to new enemies, no tactical responses possible
etc.

some balancing issues as some bulidings are just too useless and oh hotkeys are needed to swap between the clicking modes for easier defence
e.g. F for fire click R for remove click D for disable click n such

yeah, I played this on another site last year. It's stupidly hard. It feel like you get lucky to get past a certian point, then it's easy for 2 lvls, they you have to get lucky again. Then easy for 2 levels. Rinse, wash, repeat...
Give the game a try if you have never played it, I was addicted for a few hours, then got discouraged...

Okay game, but kinda pointless when the original costs like $5 and is 100x better. Don't get me wrong, though, it's still worth playing.
