Toad: To get a toad, breed a lizard with a fish. Your offspring will, obviously, be a lizard or fish. I recommend naming it with a “II” at the end of its name to denote that it’s second generation. Take your second generation (whether it’s a fish or a lizard) and breed it with ANY fish or lizard (make sure you’re not breeding the same family, i.e. fish/fish or lizard/lizard). Name the offspring with a “III” at the end of its name. Then, take the third generation lizard/fish, and breed it with ANY lizard or fish (again, no fish/fish or lizard/lizard combos). THE OFFSPRING OF THIS THIRD GENERATION WILL BE A TOAD.

Name the offspring with a “III” at the end of its name. Then, take the third generation fish/moth, and breed it with ANY fish/moth (again, no fish/fish or moth/moth combos). THE OFFSPRING OF THIS THIRD GENERATION WILL BE A CRUSTACEAN.

I think the main feature that sets this above that crappy RPG edgebee tried to make is that it isn't as blatantly money-grubbing as this one

Well, to breed, please refer to the tutorial, which noobs seem to skip, then get confused, then get mad, and says the game sucks. If you went through the tutorial and still don't understand, to breed, you get a male and a female genetic sample, then go to the lab, the you drag them up there. After that you pick the percentages for what you want and hit create, boom, you have an egg. Note, you have to have a free stall for the egg. Also, you can samples from buying them from the Auction, get sample containers and go on a safari, or get them from your own critter sample with a sample container, your creature have a limit on how much you can extract.

I suppose you're right. But I have never had a good experience with "free" offers before. I still like the game, I'm just saying that it really annoys me to find out that something I've been using since the beginning of the game because it was free was a "premium feature" and I can't get any more.

Well Kayazikyo, they give you those "essentials" to help you start off. You can try doing the free offers from Kongregate, then turning those into tokens. It may take a while, but you could earn 100 tokens every other day to ever day. It may be a little time consuming, but it helps.

Actually I really liked this game until I realized the "tokens" thing. I mean I understand that most games need to have some way to get money- but by giving us things that we almost virtually need (energy drinks were pretty useful to me) and then forcing us to pay (when I at least can't) for more, it kind of creates dissatisfaction. =[

A little confusing at first (actually I'm still a little confused, but less than before xD), but an awesome game so far.

Technolvan, that would be very weird, not only that, it would make the game too easy for more advanced players, and harder and more confusing for newbies trying to start, so, it would be a bad idea... Wow, I am like the comments guy, answering questions and judging comments.

The more I play, the more I feel like Skills could really use multiple "and/or" conditions.. like for instance, if you have a buff skill and an attack skill, you can set the attack to higher priority but only use it when you have a positive condition, OR when enemy's hp is below 10% (that way for instance, if the enemy critter is really low on health, your critter won't waste time buffing himself.. he'll go for the kill instead)
Although it could be really tough to code
