Earth explodes because he discovers other worlds with sad people, and Earth becomes a figment of his imagination. To him, Earth didn't exist. And his imagination controls him. Maybe.

Just the worst controls in any game ever. Who cares about anything else if the controls suck so bad that you spend forever trying to get places? Not me.

...funny how the earth was much smaller in the end... is that a metaphor for his grasp on reality? is that why the earth exploed?

as i interpret the end, aside from the soft walls thing, his leaving of earth and spending time away from it had lessened his ties to it, and it got smaller and smaller in his mind until his ties with the earth broke.

"as the boy delved in deeper, his imagination went wild, and the grasp of reality was left from the child" "the impact he caused broke his tie to the earth but his fears and worries had caused a rebirth""being lost in his dream his imagination expanded, and with the aid of the beast he commanded"this boy would live on in the memories of past and the boy would find hope in thhe future hed cast"

Surreal and original. Glad someone is putting thought into games and not just rehashing the same genres over and over.

this is a kind of game that relaxes you and makes you wander and wonder, it deserves a 5, but the only thing is, i really dont get what happened to earth in the end..

beautiful, simply beautiful, a wonderful game, with wonderful music, great art, and great gameplay, I don't think very many, if any games deserve a 5, but this game deserves more than a 5

Truly an "Art game" as you put it. Very atmospheric. I can feel when a level is supposed to be creepy, between the mystery underneath the water, and the green gas planet. Though I haven't finished it, it is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, I can already tell.
Unfortunately, many people seem to "just not get it". Pretty Polarizing, huh?
Overall, 5/5. I love it.

I won't slam the game for trying to be original. The visual style and music are kind of nice. My only gripe with the game is that the control doesn't feel right - it's not intuitive, and can be tricky even after playing for awhile. Fix that and you might have something. 3/5
