What the heck is wrong with the last level? Suddenly I get spammed with swamp and volcanoes before I even have a second town :c

the best way to win is to use some lighting storms and then save up like 2000 then use it on a team :D or maybe even a fireball storm or volcanoes,or EVERYTHING to simulate doomsday!:D

a nice few tactics I used to win easy: you will usually find yourself next to the ocean and a mountain/enemy, create flat land over in the ocean and build there, You will get great buildings, plus, the enemy most likely wont get that far. Also, if 2 enemies are fighting each other, use that as an advantage to gain 1 of the enemies buildings since thier to occupied to get thier guys there. After that, you outnumber the other enemy easily. Thats what I did anyways.

I'm sad now... Whirlpool cost 200 instead of 100... I loved using that to sabotage the enemy at the start of the game... (>;-;)>@

its sad that i cant play this game any further, i really like it but to me its almost insurmountable and i dont feel like spending hours to beat a single level

holy god level 19 is incredibly difficult, such an increased level of difficulty and no useful hints besides "be fast, be quick"

This game is really addicting.
What kept me going was how I could win games faster, as I became better at terraforming.
The 8-bit music really atmospheric, which was perhaps another reason why it kept me in the game.
I enjoyed winning levels simply by flooding ;)
5/5

A small hint for easier compleating game - build at maximum heigh, because than you can just fast click and terraform everything to only one level without trouble. And when you have flood ability you can just send enemies under water without fear of your city.

Very nice homage. Would feel better with more visible area, and has an old problem of early levels being much too easy, then suddenly you've got two enemies to deal with and it feels very difficult, so level difficulty needs smoothed out. Cursor is a little slow also.

Been enjoying this game immensely... and then level 24 decided to teach me humility. Must rethink my strategy.
I do wonder, though, does gather a whole bunch of people into the leader make for a stronger leader? (and/or stronger element hero)

I literally could not make it 20 seconds into the tutorial. I am supposed to place a waypoint totem, and nothing I click on will place it. I've clicked every square cm on the active map screen and nothing registers. I can dig primitive graphics if a game is good, but this is awful. I literally cannot make the first click.

okay figured it out, i somehow was zoomed in on just the flash window...and resetting the page didn't reset the zoom. wierd

Is the map at the end a map of the usage of Terraform Up? Because while it doesn't resemble the map, it does look like where I added land. (Terraform Down didn't show up)

i am missing buttons now....like the right button for level select, and when i finished a mission i had no way of getting out of the summary screen

Okay, so here's what's happening to me on the swamp level. Leave them on "Make Settlements" so I can go blast people with lightning? Enemy builds up military forces and curbstomps me. Just rush the swamp totem with a waypoint? The idiots try to capture enemy settlements on their way there and none of them ever make it. Have them all attack the enemy settlements while I blast with lightning? Turns out, the Reds have a WAY tougher military than I do. (In one bright idea of mine) terraform a way around the island to grab the totem from behind? They make an itsy-bitsy bridge and rush me 'cause even if I could remember how to lower terrain, the computer's faster than I am.

Needs a walkthrough, or . . . something. It was easy enough to start with, and stayed that way right up until I reached the Swamp level and started getting curbstomped.

IMO i think this is better than populous. i love this game but i hate populous. i think its just cause populous is 3D

ugh. And the music can't be muted separately from the game sounds (if there are any)? I went' crazy listening to that stupid soundtrack.
