For most levels, build flat ground just above the water level to build large towns; when the enemy reaches you, switch to Fight and use Fire spells on the enemy towns, then return to building flat ground. For lvl 19, build straight down to the island, then to the right, and back up; may need to call to a Waypoint; when a path reaches the totem, run for it. For lvl 29, build high and use the last Water spell. For lvl 30, Pause and Resign Island to get the Badge; you can win by building high and using the final Water spell several times, but the game freezes when you win.

Ok...so here's the deal...flat ground...that is what you need. Sounds stupid but...nothing ever told me that. You need to terraform a ton of flat land. Even if it's on different elevations, they'll build as long as there's flat ground. Keep your island secluded and just attack other tribes while you build up an army.

I must be really missing something here...95% of the time..nothing is happening...every now and then someone will run around, then dissapear. I leave it on "Make Settlement" and no one does anything...I start "Look for a fight" and no one does anything..and while no one in my tribe is doing anything..all the others are constantly building and taking more buildings...what am I doing wrong? I actually feel kinda stupid...

Easy Strategy on Later Levers: Build up your civ really elevated and use tidal wave, works on most games after you get the toe-tom. Be careful not to drown yourself. +1 if u like.

Guess I found a bug. No matter, what I do, I can't get past the "Island conquered" screen no matter what I press or where I click. (It didn't even give me any options, the music just loops)

Does this program in any way support multiple screen sizes, or possibly try to recognize and save a screen resolution of a particular player? Trying to finish this game isn't so eay on a second machine with a smaller screen if the splash screen has boundaries significantly larger than those given by kongregate.

I think it'd be nice if i could choose how large of an area i want to terraform instead of just being stuck with the 2x2 square i get now...maybe a 3x3 or 4x4 option that would cost more mana to use. Ether way still a fun game. :D

After I failed level 3, I finally understood how the AI made his buildings into "palaces". Basically, you need to terraform the ground into a flat land around your buildings for it to "grow". 4/5, interesting concept and unique gameplay.

The only issue i have with it feeling like Populous... is now... i have to find my copy of it... so i guess the question i must now ask my self is "where did i leave it?"

nice game, 5/5, but one problem on final mission ( The begging) after i defeat last enemy, i got the message Good Job leader, but then game freeze.

If some of you can't seem to start the game, try zooming in. There is a "Click to start" button that you can't see when zoomed out.

For a game about leveling land as fast as you can, the tool seems inadequate. For easy victory in the last few levels, use water storm.

I have no idea how to use the terraforming feature. Some instruction would have made me want to play for more than 3 minutes.

Darkmudkip, set waypoints to guide your people around the right-side-enemy's island to reach the totem on the other side. Try not to make a bridge connecting to the enemy's land.
You'll have to set a way point to get them walking in that direction, level the earth to build a path through the water, and then occasionally have them build a village or two as they go along.
Also, when you get the tidal wave totem... every level becomes pretty easy. Just build a big hill, save your mana as you do a teeny bit of building down below to keep your pop growing, get all your people onto the hill... woosh. Wipe away almost everyone else and then finish off the stragglers with other totems.

I click to start the first mission and I can't do anything... any help? it tells me to collect the forest totem but... i can do anything

Armagedon seems weird to me. I used it and the enemy obviously won but just before I was wiped out, it said I was victorious.

I'm stuck on the fire hero level. Obviously I need to rush the totem, but I can't get a good balance of rushing and not having my people die. Any tips?

level 3 was tough for me too, sibkid. I didn't know you had to flatten land to make your army stronger - there's nothing about how settlements work in the game, I found out by accident.

just build everything to the highest level and flood the whole map (water spell 5). even on hard levels 2 times are enough

needs a bigger screen more units like archers need more totems nercomanic or lce but this is really good cant wait for updates or sequel!

I liked made about 20 forts on the ice lvl and when the greens atacked me i sent a whole army of soildeirs and conjoured the land! lol

terrible! why dont i have any smiting powers. Or at least the ability to zoom out. Its like im wasting time waiting for the (slow) response of these peons to do...anything.

Nice game! I love it when I build to the highest level, and just pop a tidal wave. 90% of the enemy dies :) At the beginning, i was confused on which way was up xD
