Anyone have tips for Native Resolution? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to keep Orange from expanding too fast

@Sibuscus: Um... What's wrong with chess logic? The opponents make moves that won't cause them to be defeated in a few turns. Just think ahead and you should be fine in this STRATEGY game. This is not a game where you just rush up and start beating up the the first opponent you see.

For those who have issues with the easy badge, capture land and cut off the northern area from his base. The knights will be destroyed. Then, combine the next round to kill the main enemy base. After that, just expand aggressively, defending with towers.

There's always a small king attacking medium player while the big country is farming. This cant be solved without some rewind.

Fun little conquest: set sail to Gravemorra, Large, Flat, Colonization, Unfair, 9, Zombify On. (Got to have zombies on with an island having name starting with grave...)

@PredaO You mean "city of the dead"? Choose the starting position due south of the southernmost town. Carefully expand without losing anything to the zombies. Turn 1 - expand north. Turn 2 - connect the two towns. Turn 3 - connect the three towns and castle. Turn 4 - pikeman captures a tile next to the necromancer's lair. Turn 5 - upgrade your pikeman to a knight and take the lair for the win. It will likely require multiple attempts to get right.

@LeekyBum69 I just managed to beat it.
There is no margin for error in the first turns.
Turn one I splitted ennemy territory to kill the knights, in a way that will make easier to defend next turn.
On turn 2 I reinforced the defenses in the middle so they can't reconnect their two territories. I still lost a spearman and a villager on this turn. But it was worth it as their knight upkeep is now krippling their economy.
Turn 3+ it's just normal strategy. I let them reconnect the two sides, just to split them again and bankrupt the right side, killing their knight and spearman. Afterward I destroyed their economy and never let them make a spearman again.

@kshizzle After you've taken the gold mine area, place a knight to protect both your town and your access to the gold mine area. Then just save cash and wait for some AI players to die. And remember that many of the AI players cannot conquer each other. So sometimes you can take territory that cannot ever be taken back.

Seems like my objectively correct feedback made a few kids mad. Second to last zombie level just proves my point, you have even less time than before because zombie villages generate mana so quickly the dread knight can spawn as early as turn 3 before you can even get a 3rd villager, and you still can't defend yourself or you just accelerate the summoning. There's no strategy here there's only one way to win and it's cheesy.

Very sheer line between "This game was made by a genius" and "what idiot thought THAT would be a good game mechanic". I don't even know what you're supposed to do vs zombies, playing offensive just gets you infected, play defensive and they climb your walls, starve you of coin, and eventually send an immortal tank to bulldoze you

simple yet super amazingly complex and surprisingly difficult. really fun to play tho, hours could burn through this game without you realising it...

The toolbar at the bottom of the screen for building units should be on one of the sides of the screen for the desktop version of the game. Would give a much better view of the world for monitors that are wider than they are tall.
