The first like 10 minutes of the game is automated and brain dead. so much so that it makes you not to even want to play.

This game is just another Clash of Clans clone that forces you to pay, and if you don't you will have to grind for months...because why not?

to the new guys, we are using the babel chat room in any language section as an unofficial chat room for this game, feel free to come and talk!

@MarshalKutuzov We can't attack eachother, because we're in different leagues (I'm in 1-10 and you're in 11-20). I'm in Camp Rest. If you want to join the clan then you could always send a join request (click on the clan and then click on "join clan")

Thanks Damien, now lets make a defensive pack since you are only level 10 and I am level 15 lets not invade each other, also what clan are you in? And if you do can I join?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@marshalkutuzov You get friends if you add people on Kongregate who also play this game (they don't have to add you back). You can ask your friends for silver and reinforcements. You could join a clan and add everyone in your clan to your friends list. They give stronger reinforcements for in your garrison if you ask them for reinforcements. The type of reinforcements depend on the clan level. You can get light infantry, line infantry and dragoons depending on the level. All I know is that a level 2 clan gives light infantry and a level 8 clan gives line infantry. If you want to find some other people who play Warbanner then you could join Babel (the Kongregate chatroom you can find in "any languages") If you don't know how to switch between chatrooms or need any help with this game then you could send me a whisper or a private message, so it won't take all space in the comments :)

@marshalkutuzov If the game lags a lot then you may need to get a faster pc
(especially a fast cpu and at least 4gb RAM) and maybe faster internet or close background applications that may be running and slowing down your pc.
The accuracy for preobrazhenskys (the Russian elites) is 54 which doesn't hit almost all shots in this game like you said. Muskets aren't that inaccurate as you may think. Especially not on close ranges like in Warbanner. The hit rate will actually be higher than those in the game if they were realistic. Especially for well trained troops. Some things in this game may not be 100% realistic, but remember that it's a game and not real life

This game is great but lag forces me to restart the game. Also note the historical accuracy is onspot except for one part. Musket are very very inaccurate, thus when i see russian troop firing at french troops and almost all of the shot hit it just makes me laugh

as a gamer and a warbanner player i would say this game is moderate. The battles are cool and the graphics are great while the game itself is laggy and takes a lot of patience. That IS all i have to say about this game

macluc, level 6 is the highest level for national uniques. As to changing nations, you can keep your uniques when you change nations, for example I changed to Russia and kept my Imperial Guard uniques.

Could someone help me with the following issue: I have British Highlanders which have stopped been upgraded and gain higher levels at level 6. They obtain experience after every battle, but they are stuck at level 6. As it has been mentioned they could reach up to level 12. Is this a bug? Could someone know sth about that?
Another question. Someone know what will happen if the nation been changed during the game? The unique troops will be lost?
Thank you in advance.

lpaci trust me, you dont want more nerfs than they have been already gradually doing without saying it anywhere so they can add a new worth it troop and have everyone run to get it, they should maybe nerf the nerf instead

skirmishes with so many premiums...are you killing skirmishes too? what are you killing next to make this game even more p2w? are you nerfing all troops health to 1? are you going to make sappers unable to attack? are you going to remove their perk that helps ignore cannon damage? are you making more events that requiere like 500 premium troops to win a single battle so you can win the 2000 others and get an NPC that will soon disappear?

Once again I win a difficult battle, use a bunch from my Arsenal, and it glitches and I can't end the level. Only option is to leave the battle which means I lose. This should not still be a problem.

I'm 30 minutes in and this thing totally lost me. First, there's 20 buttons. A tutorial to know what I'm looking at would be nice. It seems there was some intended tutorial in-game, but it's actually just "click this button - yay! You win! Okay now click this button - yay! More rewards!" The combat isn't even playable... I position troops, press start - then that's it. I don't have any control over anything. So this becomes another version of "click here (which is the start button) ... YAY! YOU WIN AGAIN!" Seriously, even idle games allow you the occasional decision making. On second thought, maybe it doesn't need a tutorial... I've literally won every battle I was thrown into and still have not actually made a decision or played the game besides clicking where I was told to click. 1/5.

While the gameplay is unique, especially the combat. It feels like the game lacks multiplayer aspect to it. There's no chat from I have seen so far and there's no real combat interaction between players except where you attack "Players" from the campaign map who all happen to have the same defense layout which makes the game feel lonely and dull quickly. If you were to fix live combat between players it would surely make the game more fun considerably.

I really want to get into this game, it seems like a lot of fun. But the glitches are game breaking. Battles are constantly freezing up at the end making it impossible to finish the fight. I will have groups of troops standing around with no enemies to fight. I will be forced to leave the battle or refresh the tab and it will register as a loss making the artillery strikes and unique troops wasted.

I chose the US side. Why am I after some bandits who stole from wagons carried supplies for "His Majesty's" troops? I should be thanking them.

Why does all these soldiers walk right up to bayonet charge range before they fire? And if they are formed up all in a line, why is there no volley fire cycle?
