great game, but - boss 11 - is there some trick I'm missing? Because the invulnerable armoured dude is active far too long - I needed to be able to shoot the little alien thing twice to defeat him on normal. I managed, but the battle took about 20 minutes (no, that's not hyperbole or an exaggeration, it really took about 20 minutes) - that's a bit too long imo. (He also seems to be easier on hard - because I don't have to dodge for 10 minutes without doing any damage).

I'd like the option to select which boss I'd like to begin with. Right now I'm at boss 11, and even though I want to skip bosses 1-6, I dont want to skip boss 7, 8 and 9.

YOUR projectiles should NOT be on the top of the ENEMY projectiles...impossible to NOT to get hit when you use special attack and you're in a dogfight. @_@

It's kind of annoying that the droids have their own hitboxes. Against the later bosses, you pretty much need the impact damage droids because the shooters are going to spend most of the battle out of commission.

its very annoying that u cant buy lower level suits if u are already in insane mode. so tell me, how do i get the suit with the shield-mode again?

So I'm getting tired of refreshing this game everytime the raffle gives me an item. Every time it gives me an inventory item it brings up the "drag suit to slot" screen and there's no way out of it bc it never gave me a suit. It locks there and the only way out is a refresh that leads to another 3 minutes of gameplay before doing it all over again. -_- please fix...

Anyone having trouble with the level 20 insane boss. I used 6 Final tech armors, 2 Night Helmets, 3 final tech protector droids, 2 health potion pro, and the mustard pro medic suit.
Don't worry about your dps. Just concentrate on firing the full power cannon on the open eye. Use dropped shield when the tenatacles start moving apart. Don't move too far forward or you'll fall off the boat.

abysoft, you grab the shield that floats down. Don't get it on the first chance - it won't go away. Simply wait until the squid guy squats down, then quickly go for it and it'll shield you from the blast. Another should immediately come down. Repeat until it dies.

How do you get past the squid bomb thing? it keeps blowing up and insta-kill. haven't found a way to do enough damage to kill before it blows up.

@Krazycat all the walls are avoidable. Just need high speed and good reflexes. @hho1 the coins are all collected when the boss is defeated. If you need more coins to get equipment/suits that could help with your current boss fight, go to an earlier one (or turn off skipping low level fights) for easy coinage.

I'm sorry, 20 was an exaggeration. I think it's 10 from trying again, but it still is pretty long for a fight, especially when you miss several times or you play semi-recklessly. Still dislike the gimmick fight though.

It's a good game... i have a problem with boss 15 on insane. Why is it a gimmick boss instead of a regular boss? Is it because it would be too easy? If so, the main issue with the gimmick boss fight is that it takes 'forever'. The only method for hurting the boss either does too little damage, or the boss has too much health. What is it, 20 hits, with about 15-20 seconds in between hits? Didn't keep count yet, but it feels too tedious. Going from building pure offense to building pure defense hurts too when it comes to preparation...

I know I'm missing the point but I'm really curious about the flies in the spider boss. Where did they come from? Why are they enormous? Are they mutant flies of some kind? Are they of Earth? Or are they partners of the spider, willingly laying down their lives?
I can't stop wondering about where they came from, with their giant adorable eyes and their doomedness.

boss 6 sometimes makes you run right into a trap because you need to avoid the walls the gorilla creates. That's not good design if you HAVE to take damage to avoid taking more damage. 4/5 though

Greg should not worry about being stopped but having stopped himself. Why did u not just add the badges? We are waiting!!!

I like the random jump in difficulty from boss 8 to boss 9 (the giant) where it becomes near impossible to dodge anything because you can't see the bullets and you cant kill the things making the bullets because there's so many of them guarding each other... Yeaaahh. We'll say we "like" it...

So how to do the +/- on an accessory or any other thing of the sort would be to just show it when you are dragging to replace another. That way you can at least compare the new item with the one you are replacing side by side.

One thing I miss about the original is the ability to start from the beginning. I'm the kind of guy who likes to get super powerful, beat the game, and then go back to the first level to completely destroy the first boss.

Solution to comparison: Have it compare the item to your "lowest stat value" item or have you just be able to select two items to compare.

...Is it just me, or have the bosses in this game gotten a lot more trigger-happy?! Must've gotten some boosts to the firepower budget.

Really good game. I expected this to be another game where you grind until you have good enough gear to roflstomp the enemy with no skill required. But the hard and insane modes paired with gating the next tier of equipment was surprisingly well balanced and fun. The gear system itself is pretty cool too, and the bosses are memorable, well designed, and very distinctive. 4/5

Protips: Healing takes 20 seconds between each bout of healing. For every point in healing, that's how many units of health is given back. So, if it's just a SINGLE boss that is destroying you, then you probably won't see the benefits of healing. However, once you are going past 5-6 bosses and you're taking damage from each, then you will definitely see the benefits of healing.
