This game has a great potential, but here are two improvement tips: 1) Add a start button so that you can assemble your units as you wish before the round starts. 2) Ranged enemies should have an attack range. They can attack across the whole map at the moment which is slightly unfair in my honest opinion. Still 5/5

the gravestones are absolute bullshit. You can't beat some levels without frontloading the entire line, but then some of them spawn in the last 2 or 3 rows and you can't do a damn thing about it.

Nice game I enjoyed it. Hints: Let yourself die, in the early levels to gain more stars and gems before advancing into higher difficulties. And on the boss choose the group with the healer and spam the guy with the shovels on the front lines, they drop apples to replenish your losses. I beat the boss within 5 minutes tops on the first try. 5 stars

Slight bug. After i beat the game i refreshed my page and all three of the tags i got were reversed. Instead of The superstitious forgiving barterer i became the leery unforgiving magistrate... just pointing that out.

Are you kidding? restart the WHOLE boss fight when we lose?... this is such a long and unforgiving boss fight.. losing a star there

Easy difficulty is hard if you don't decrease difficulty.
Hard difficulty is cakewalk if you slightly decrease difficulty each time you lose.

Beat the first 10 levels without a single retry.
Then level 11 without farmers and no chance in hell....WTF ?

Enjoyed the game greatly @epace but agree that it could use a speed up button. Additionally, keyboard hotkeys would be awesome as well as an endless, sandbox, or survival mode to see how long one can last.

Cleric: Wait, hang on. I need to attack the monsters first.
Farmer: I already killed the ones that were getting close. You're free to heal us.
Cleric: What? But I wanted to kill them!
Archer: No problem. I'll leak some eventually; you'll get your chance to do some killing. Meanwhile, please heal us.
Cleric: But I want to kill monsters NOW! I REFUSE to heal anyone until I've spent at least five minutes attacking monsters!
... and that's the story of how the cleric became the second-most-hated person in town (the most-hated being the paranoid would-be witch-burner).

I literally can not play this game. has it been hacked or something? Every time I load it the screen is blocked by a mid sized newgrounds ad (!) in the middle of the screen. the add has no close or skip button, and clicking anywhere on it just takes you to various games. current one is "adventurQuest worlds." the ad never goes away.

Epace, I'm sure you are working on with the speed up button. It would boost and make your game better. This game has so much potential! I love it 9/10 for the support

Hm quite nice, but am I the only one who gets mad when getting hit by ranged enemies 2 or 3 times before they even arrive at my melee forces? This costs a lot of hp and seems to be a little bit unfair, huh? 3/5 up to now

Enjoyable game. My only complaint is the shoveling and digging before the start of each round. I felt the it was too randomized such that you could either end up finding big rewards like 2 gems and gold to give you a massive advantage at the end of each round, or walk away with nothing every round which severely hindered you.

I didnt' like the way it was implemented. I spent all my skills on several classes only to not be able to use them at all at the end game. I still won, but It just made me angry. If there was a reset button for the skills, I would have been ok with it, but as it was, it just seemed like a fabricated way to make the game harder, instead of just introducing new enemies, or some other challenge.

I would suggest a Speed Up button of some sorts for those who are too impatient to watch the zombies slowly walk towards the defenders.

Not a fan of the random levels (where you chose a randomly picked array of defenders). Had to restart the game twice to get a viable combo. Other than that, very enjoyable.

terribly slow, irrelevant choices during the "storyline", and the level where you lose half of your units sewed this game up for me. it's definitely earned a 1 star rating

It's kind of annoying having the scroll through all the townsfolk to see the prices every time. I'd like the cost to stay visible so I can spend more time concentrating on the field.

can we adjust the targeting system? i have archers at the very back getting rammed by ranged units when i clearly have close ranged units in front to take the hits

What are the consequences of the scroll? I reloaded, destroying it makes you not trade, keeping it nothing, and giving it over is 1 gold and 1 gem. Any long term effects?

Neat concept, but the lack of a fast forward button, the inherent speed of the game, and the annoyance of the initial conversation turned me off. Didn't give it a poor rating though... those who aren't bothered by such things would probably enjoy it, I am just not one of them.
