Game so glitchy! it wont let me use units skills, when i use it no animation happens. And you can dig up land using a shovel in the same place making you lose a chance.

maxed out farmers is the way to go. Don't even need any other types of units. just build rows of farmers, with their special tree ability you will have enough apples to place more and more farmers.

If I have one farmer out zombies walk past him and he doesn't even attack until they're at the back of his hit area.. o_O

i give up...those enemy archers are WAY too powerful, and the way zombies spawn from gravestones RIGHT next to your town is really unfair, especially since JUST ONE zombie getting past makes you lose...oh yeah, ALL special abilities require picking up random drops from zombies, making them 90% less useful than you might think...heck, the "faster apple growth" has given me ZERO benefit!

5/5 loved this game. There are many strategies that can lead to victory. And I like making my own decisions and not be guided too much by the game :)

the intro reminded me of a fantasy novel where a woman was going to be burned at the stake for saving a boys life with magic! they didn't go into detail...the heros of the story, 2 powerful wizards, said that town would eventually be wiped out by a plague or some other catastrophe that could have easily been stopped by magic.

Needs speed up button for game, Info on troops, and survival mode. This game is better than most games I've played recently, keep up the updates and it'll be the best game I've played.

Nice original game. Loads of decisions. Could use better info though and better difficulty scaling. I felt like since mid game it became easier and easier

Apple tree mechanic makes the game resource availability too sporadic. Money should come less from trees and more from fallen enemies. It doesn't feel like the clerics are doing anything, and the dropped health vials need to be more powerful if the cleric's heal is so low.

Disregard my last comment, my farmers passive heal upgrade was throwing off my observations. The passive upgrade is simply weirdly worded; healing up to 8 allies refers to the fact it only applies to units in a box-shape around the Cleric itself. Sorry about that.

Clerics don't heal without any skills, and from what I've experienced they seem to have a range of roughly 2 squares away from them for the passive heal upgrade (so directly adjacent, and one further out.) Might want to note that somewhere in future, if possible.

I enjoyed this game, though there are a few bugs, there is a decent bit of strategy in this. I especially enjoyed pissing off the adviser as much as possible. Something that I'd like an answer to, from the dev.
SPOILER ALERT EVERYBODY
When a massive amount of the town leaves to create a new town, then a few days later, the adviser (That's who left on mine anyways), are the body parts used to make the boss the people who left?
Anyways, hope there's a sequel.

this game suffers for lack of explaination, not enough to ruin the game, but enough to frustrate me. Allies gain active skills by lvling up. These active skills gain points during combat when THAT ALLY TYPE kill enemies. (to use a skill click the picture then click in combat zone, such as to grow the farmers apple tree, which is way underpowered) So basically your offensive units will be using skills while your defensive units sit there and look stupid. Also seems that higher tier upgrades are broken, like second lvl for cleric is passive healing to adjcent units... didn't happen for me (also clerics last upgrade lvl description is blank) ultimately enemies need to drop more, at at least digging needs to be more profitable (since it seems to be the primary way you end upgrade points) otherwise it feels like a few bad digs and you've lost

soo cool game, but boss is incredibly hard and game sometime crashes when u want to decrease difficult lvl, thats annoying, bcause when u refresh game u need to go again 3 times before it will decrease a lvl. i had that issue, that when i clicked yes (or no) sometimes games stuck

epace has recently been making some fun games with high replay value and just enough typical deficiencies to be called idiosyncratic.

why is the save lost once the game is finished? what if i just wanted to replay the boss fight? i think the option to delete a save should be left to the player, esp. with three save slots and all.

Really great game, with a couple of faults though.
1) Muting doesnot work properly,
2) Not all skills describe what they do.

there isn't any useful information about units ... you don't know their damage and health, and f.e. blacksmith [which is 100% useless before upgrading his skills] enhances other units but in reality this doesn't mean anything particular because units abilities don't have known value ... even if on day 5 there is larger area to cover, and more enemies coming starting money is still same 200 as on day 1, and no guarantee that any apple tree will happen .... there also should be indicators of wave start, and wave length

so i had to spent crystal on "plant apple trees" skill ... but through all attack this skill is useless, conditions of get it work are unknown, and i really don't need to plant trees just before attack ends but when it starts

i have turned of sound/fx in options, after that i had to turn them of by icons on battle field, and i still have sound and fx .... YOUR CODING IS STUPID

very good game
advice for last stage 1 man of each you have + full farmer(fully upgrade with range up) and just keep this formation
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good game but unbalanced, 5 zombie archers spawning at the gray area which start shooting at your units, and none of them having nearly enough range to retaliate, so after a few moments all the units are half dead.

Love the amount of choices available. The graphics are pleasant. Overall a great game! Even if it is a kinda plants vs zombies clone.
