I expected this to be a brief game, but this is PACKED. LOVE it! Make a sequel please! But take your time cause I'm still working on this one. 5 stars.

i like this. i finished game from start more than 5 times. last time finished in 20 mins. it would be great to add achievements: finished in xx:xx:xx time, finished in xxx steps
i mean, when I added a speedrun mode to The Woman Who Can't Jump, not a lot of people used it. I guess puzzle games aren't usually ideal for speedrunning.

i get it! here's solve of the puzzle of 6 cats & a stone: from the fourth pink flag of the map, 'dwad sasa wdsa dwa' and poof! 'wasd' refers '↑←↓→'. it takes almost an hour!

Wow, when I played the first levels I thought, okay, that's kind of neat, but I would run into a puzzle that didn't make sense, get kind of bored, and move along. But I kept seeing the game on the top of bontegames, and kept opening it back up to try a few more times. The farther I got into the game, the more I appreciated the puzzle mechanics and the more fun it became to complete the challenges. Very much like The Man/Woman Who Can't Jump, it took a while for me to settle into the rhythm of the puzzles, but I very much enjoyed completing the game. 5/5
SPOILERS: yes, there are two endings. Going to the ship without 100% completing the game gives you one ending (where nothing bad happens on the way back), but going for 100% completion gets you the ending where they crash.

This star in the bottom left hand corner of the map is driving me crazy... I'm trying to hit all 3 flags at once, assuming that's how you do it, but going through the steps in reverse seems to yield no solution. I must be missing something x_x

Very nice puzzles. Adding stars to the map was a good idea; it was boring to search through the map looking for them. Now everything is good! :-)
Hope to see more puzzles from you in the future.

EPGstudios>>No idea what I'm going to do next, except maybe a small DLC pack for this game?
That would be great. I look forward to new levels. A great new idea of a puzzle. Thanks.
Yeah, not sure if I'll make a separate game or add on to this one. Scope creep might necessitate the former, but if the new levels are small, I'll choose the latter.

Didn't realize you're the dev who made the Can't Jump games. Great ones as well, looking forward to whatever you have planned next.

Sound doesn't seem to work on Chrome either. Other than that, beautiful puzzles. The multi-flag death puzzles were just brilliant.

I got all the stars and still can't figure out the dang 3x3 green treadmill puzzle on the bottom. I swear I've tried every combination.

Am I missing something?
All I see is a cat with 5 moves, 5 flags, I can go from flag to flag. When I'm on a flag, I tried Enter, Space, but nothing happens???
You're in the tutorial area. The map, along with the ability to return to the last base you visited (press q) are locked until after you beat the tutorial. Move to the bottom of the screen and press down to go to the next room, and solve the puzzles.

Wait... Why am I playing as a cat and hear dogs barking in orchestral-like arrangements? I absolutely love this, thank you very much!

Another unsuspecting puzzle mechanic explored thoroughly! Nicely done! The amount of work it took to make sure that you can kill the cat at any screen must have been a lot. The stars really show how deeply you understand this game and puzzles in general. Definitely keep this developer on your radar!
Yeah, killing the cat on any screen was something I was able to do, with two exceptions: A) Tasselfoot found an oversight that got him stuck in one of the areas, and B) there's an area where you can intentionally get stuck as a joke. In both cases, pressing Q gets you unstuck.

Fantastic game. Is this star possible? https://imgur.com/eOAsXWL
I get that I have to keep all 4 cats alive to push them into the bottom, but I can't keep the first one alive. Pushing the second cat gets it to the flag, but the first one greys out before the flag is touched.
Spoilers: You need more cats than the four you're given with to start. Assuming you've completed the area on the lower left corner of the map, you need to use what it teaches you to make more.

This is honestly one of the smartest puzzle games i've played in a while. When I realized how respawning works I flipped out. Very impressive. Really well designed to teach you things.
Ok, I'll consider adding that in the update. It would be easy to pull off with mouse controls, not sure if I could make an elegant solution for keyboard controls.

Very well designed puzzle game, some really clever ideas here. New mechanics are introduced extremely smoothly. Some puzzles were actually kinda challenging, but never not fun. Also really like how it's all set in one big map. Good job!
Thanks! The "one big map" part was actually kinda challenging. With The Man Who Can't Jump, I could just make levels in isolation and easily swap them around. But with this game, I had to be more deliberate about where I placed the puzzles and how I designed them. Glad you liked it, though!

wow. this game is amazing! Needs the "Idle" tag though. So far i'm up to Loading 8%. not sure if my button bashing is doing too much but it does seem to be working.
Can you send me a pm/bug report email with: your browser, browser version, os, screenshots from the console, etc.? I'll try to work out what's causing your bug.

What a nice puzzle game. It is really interesting to discover the mechanic the first and the first levels have pretty good design to discover them, without game telling you about them.
Here's an explanation that contains some spoilers for the game: Basically, if you have more than one checkpoint active at a time, a cat spawns at each active checkpoint when you die. And if the level has a cat that isn't tied to a checkpoint (spawns at level load, not at a checkpoint), you can abuse this to get infinite clones of yourself.
Well, some of the puzzles require restarting, which undo discourages. And since there's no timing in this game, and the solutions don't require a ton of consecutive inputs, I decided undo wasn't necessary. But undo would be a nice quality of life feature. No promises, but _maybe_ I could add it in???
