Extremely short, but one of your better games in that short time. Bonus points for not including that terrible voice actress that is in all your other games.

Like some other reviewers, I'm not pleased with this game because I don't get to explore. I have to click on/do things in a very certain order, I can't pick anything up ahead of time, and items that I want to examine I can't. Why can't I read the rest of the diary? You'd think ANY background would be important, if I've just taken up the job she started. And considering i'm a 'ghost hunter' now, its surprising I'm scared of a dark stairwell and an old elevator. Also, whatever is revealed in the elevator is lost on me, I don't speak french.

Kind of a strange throwaway that the priest randomly finds the missing coin all of a sudden instead of me being the one to do it ...

uhg, I hate it when I specifically click on something, the book, and nothing happens until you find another item; some silly fortune machine piece of paper that tells me to look for the book when I already "found" it. When looking at all the book titles, I saw this one and thought if grandma was a ghost hunter and she came back to me as a ghost this would be a perfect book to read. but no, im am forced to play this game on rails to go back and forth between places for no other reason then to drag it out. I love that it essentially gives you a hint as what you need to do next if for some reason you didnt already find the book.

There should be part 2 where you open the door and have another mission behind it... I was like wtf why did it end? I've read the plan on the ceiling and i thought we can discover it :P.. other then that, good game 5/5

A sure 5/5 game, the style reminds me many old, excellent mystery flash games like arcane, I think there can be 2 improvements: 1. Bookshelf can be brighter so we can see the book names more clearly. 2. tab shouldn't work for find and click games.

Kind of annoying that I'd selected English, but the voice in the elevator scene (right before it goes crashing down to the basement) is in french.

Even with the walkthrough, I never figured out what I should do with the clock. Got stuck and gave up after following the walkthrough step-by-step. Otherwise, it was kind of fun. I wanted to finish it. :,(

Good art and decent music, and the mechanics are less annoying than a lot of point and click games out there. My only real problem is the voice acting. While the priest and bartender are alright, Matthew's lines are stilted, I think overall it might have worked better with no voice acting. Still, a fun game overall.

It's a fantastic piece, I appreciate your attention to detail. One thing though, why does a horror game protagonist talk like Diego from Dora the Explorer? "SOMEBODY has ripped out the pages from Grandma's diary."

Dark, breathy voice from Grandma, "I need you to fill my place... you have to do it..." O.O Um, wow Grandma, yeah, I feel bad that you just died and I love you, but- but... um... Hey Grandma, I think I'm just going to call an exorcist.

Game works fine for me, I dont know what gx09 is on about. Also this was just added and is not part of a quest. Game is of good quality as usual from esthetix.
