They also should have been pushed in with a rammer (another tool for cannon operation. There are at least 6 I can think of, 4 of which are absolutely necessary), so that there is as little a gap as possible between all the ingredients for cannon fire, so that the cannon would have as much power as possible. Failure to ram it could lead to the cannonball getting stuck in the cannon, not having had enough power to get out of the cannon, and getting a 10-15 kilogram (20-30 pounds) cannonball out of a cannon, with no way to get a solid grip on it, is a pain. Making the cannon face downwards for the ball to roll out is also nearly impossible in most scenarios, as cannons can weigh up to and over 1,500 kilograms (3,000 pounds). So, yeah. This guy was EXTREMELY lucky to not kill himself or break the cannon, much less gain enough power to break the wall.

This powder helps enable the reaction, as the cartridge itself can be somewhat difficult to ignite, by design. After all, you don't want the cartridge exploding due to a random spark, while sitting in an ammo room, do you? To top this all off, back at the beginning, the cannon should have been put at a horizontal angle, rather than a raised one, for all the necessary things to go in.

This game didn't use a cartridge, so it needed wadding. Not wadding could lead to, you guessed it, the cannon blowing up, or the cannonball firing prematurely. After that, you put in the cannonball finally. But you still aren't done yet. If you are using a cartridge, there is a priming hole in the back of the cannon where you put a small, thin knife (called a stiletto) and poke a hole in the cartridge, and then pour a special fine powder in through the cartridge.

Hmm... They had the cannon steps messed up bad. Usually, you clean the cannon first, but here we can probably assume it's pre-cleaned before entering the room. If it isn't pre-cleaned, though, forgetting to clean it would lead to it possibly blowing up, or the cannonball launching prematurely due to sparks from residue inside the cannon. Second, you put in the gunpowder, not the cannonball. If you put the cannonball in first, you'll probably blow up the cannon, and maybe yourself. You'll definitely break the cannon. After that you put in wadding, not the actual cannonball itself, unless the cannonball and gunpowder are in a cartridge rather than separate, in which you put both in at the same time, and don't do wadding.

(Might reveal a spoiler to the ending) I wonder how he is gonna come back after that gigantic cannon ball. Lord of the Rings Resurrection perhaps?

It's nice, but voice actor is terrible, games's way too short and easy, and how on Earth did you order the powder and cannon ball incorrectly?

There's a problem in the German translation. In the skull puzzle the last hint doesn't fit in the box. After restarting in English I could solve it without problems. But it's overall too easy and too short.

I would not of been able to solve the drink puzzle without checking off the questions, good design choice. Once you solve the mirror puzzle, the image of what you drew leaves so fast most will miss it. Great game.

Nice. Everything made sense, except for your lack of understanding about how cannons work. Looking forward to the next one!
