There were a few times I KNOW I timed it right but it didn't respond. I think I had a bit of trouble with lagging even though I turned quality to low, but that might just be my computer. That being said I still favorited and gave it 5/5 for beauty, enjoyment, and a gripping story. I love the voices, particularly our narrator.

Pretty awesome and beautiful-looking but the colours seem to be a bit TOO subtle. I often had trouble seeing things against the background, particularly the duelists which I got killed by a lot because I just didn't see them. Sure, they shout at you, but you have much less time to react that way. Still love this game though, I don't even care that I'm pretty sure level 5 is impossible and you're just trolling us all.

Of all the fantastic games on Kong, there are really only two that I come back to play with any regularity; Freeway Fury and Hippolyta. So whether I want to ride a horse and kill hoplites or ride a car and kill civilians, my needs are tended to, and for this, I am ever grateful. The only conceivable improvement might be the addition of a stadium announcer bellowing "Oouut-standing!!" every time i jumped a spike pit or speared a farmer.

Lovely game, just wonderful. I wish there were badges. I think I have carpal tunnel now though. It did piss me off at times. There were several times where it would skip or pause, even on the lowest graphics setting, and she wouldn't do the action I had pressed. The skipping was worse whenever I got an in-game award. Also, all of a sudden during the fourth level it was like the game reloaded on top of the one I was currently playing. In the background the horse was running and I was dodging obstacles, but in the foreground the logos were showing and the opening cutscene started playing. It would reach the menu, everything would go quiet, and I could start the game again, but the second I did so the logos would show up. Then it just froze, with the horse's run animation, but no movement in the background. I could control her, but she wasn't moving.
However, small bugs and annoyances aside, awesome game. Loved it. 5/5

Its ok. really difficult which made it lose some of its fun. and it got repetitive fast. i'd say 4/5 because of the quality graphics and story, and still amusing gameplay

You know what makes this game? The audio. And not just the music either, the voice acting is amazing and the sound effects work with the voices and music to create pretty much the most artistic audio track for a video game ever. Everything about it evokes the image of a bloody and heroic ancient Greece.

Great fun, fast paced, one problem... The branches blend in with the background so -.5 for that but, since I don't often take graphics into account they usually don't add anything, +.5 for graphics. So 5/5.

Hard's one thing, "near-impossible to distinguish actual obstacles from the lovely background" is another. I can't play this :(.

Good game, but for me its a bit too hard to actually see the ground obstacles (think its the tree's) and the one's you have to duck under. bit too hard for the colorblind :p

wjat does armor even do? it's a waste of AP, and why do you make it where you only do one thing at a time, and then make the game where you have to jump, block arrows, and throw a spear all at once? 4/5 because of that, but it's a good game.

Narrator: So you see, my child, once upon a time there was a woman named Hippolyta she was strong and brave and naked, she battled the Hoplites but was soon outnumbered and captured and turned into a slave, until one day, she decided to go home.. She broke her chains, mounted a horse, fashioned some weapons and opens the barn doors, freeing the horses and herself, along the way she stumbles on a rock and dies...Wait. that did not happen.... She simply died by hitting a branch...No wait...hehe I'm sorry Matt maybe I'll remeber the story tomorrow ok?

I can see why this game is underrated. On one hand the game is awesome on it's design and dynamics. Have good story. However, the gameplay due to terrible responsiveness: Intense gameplay require fast respond. But the character only respond when it finish the whole action sequence. In later level it always depend on luck for one to finish it. Each level is too long, which increase the chance of screwing up and having everything started all over again. Sooner or later players get bored and fed up and decide to give low rating.

How can she die when she is hit by a branch? Otherwise, good, difficult, story is based on real history, the charachter is riding on a horse without a sadle (I somehow find that interesting), throws javelins... 5/5, absolutely.

@oblivion1234 she was featured in Shakespeare (if my memory serves me) but she was around LONG before Shakespeare. it was told by homer and random other lore tellers around the entire known world (back then northern Africa, Europe. and western Asia
