Not really a game, but a punk music step sequencer. And duuuu-uuuu-uuuude, it ROCKS. IceWolf is hilarious. Would be nice if you could see more of the track on screen at once, maybe just make the whole Flash movie wider. Still: 5 stars, doood!

This game definitely rocks!!!! I grew up playing music so this is defnitely high on my list. It would be interesting to have an Aggression Metal, Trance, or Techno edition.

Well axcho, it's nothing more than basic timing and playing the sound at the right time. Nothing special here...you could make something like this for adaptive music indeed, but I would add a cross-fade of the music to make sure the shfit in music isn't choppy.
I'm working on punkomatic 2 and I tried to make the interface more intuitive this time.

Wow, this is great! Have you considered using this kind of system to generate adaptive background music for a game? I'm curious what you did to keep the timing consistent. I've played around with dynamic music a bit myself, so if you want to share some of your insights that would be cool.
The main suggestion I have for this is to make the editing interface more expressive. Right now it's either trial and error or memorize how each sample corresponds to an arbitrary number. Maybe if there were a graphic for each, or at least if it played the sound when you mouse over the square.

Thanks for the comments, transitions are indeed choppy sometimes but yeah, flash isn't a very good audio processor hehe

Very good and nicely done, transitions could have been a lil bit smoother but i can guess how impossibly hard that would be...
Quite liked the lil movie thing, spent a lot of time on it =)
