I have an issue..every once in a while the game just decides to kill you in one of two manners. Either it spawns a red just ahead of you that takes up all available proteins or you will click on one within your circle and your node just wont move forward...I know its not my mouse because I bought this like two weeks ago.

why the heck are you compeating against your own neurons? I can just imagine an angel (you) on one shoulder and a demon (the competetor)on the other battling for control of your conscience. Very great game, 5/5

the conditions for reds to show up are way to random, THEY should only start is dense areas of proteins, yet the means for them to start on the first node after moving a long string of shallow line into it is way to unlucky... yet thats the one thing that will always beat me :/

The rival neurons are such assholes... You're about to take a free protein and they pop out of nowhere are all like, "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!"

20 attempts on trackpad and my highest was 45k. Then i switched to a mouse...and 5 attempts later got the hard badge. Not sure if this was due to luck or the mouse, but it's definitely easier to just keep clicking on a mouse than trackpad. the game involves too much luck. i kept getting blue power ups near the red axons on my winning run.

Click like a maniac, move left (or right) whenever you see red neurons to avoid them, and the hard badge will be yours!!! My record is 78.940 with no chain, 17 forces, 11 ranges, 12 freezes and 725 proteins :D

Kinda disappointed, I FINALLY get the hard badge with a 85k Micrometer neuron and it says I built a Granule cell, "one of the smallest types of neurons". WTH?

Possibly useful tip for anyone stuck trying to get the Hard badge: if you have a gamepad, use a good joy-to-key program and set a button to auto-fire the left mouse button. Then all you have to do is hold down that button and aim the mouse where you want to go. Should help you out-distance most rival neurons as long as you don't get bottle-necked. I'd recommend at least trying it normally first before doing this, since once I finally got frustrated and did this I easily got to 122k.

Ridiculously addicting and frustrating. I would've given this game a 5 if it had a story/plotline or multiplayer mode, and if there was some system of upgrades or perks (or both). Music would've also been nice. As it stands, it's a great time waster and I'm glad I got to experience it. It's also educational! Oh rival neurons, what did I ever do to you to make you always try to cut me off =(

I think I truly hate this game. I've seen other people complain about this and watched their comments get massively negative, but every single time I get above 40k, I run into spots where I have to click 3,4,5 times to get it to take and it inevitably gets me killed.

I find that even though sometimes there are less cells the only time I die is from the enemy one blocking the cells I click on so that I die.

I guess I just suck at this game, but every time im over 50k I run into a red nerve which takes the only available node immediately. Then I wait 5 seconds for inevitable and seemingly unavoidable death.

why can't we use the proteins that are "below" the current area of movement? I thought that "neurons" didn't had a singular path of growth...

surprisenly, ya can not just keep a steady pace with protein collection, need to alter the speed with each passing challenge face... however it still is just luck that WILL be near a combo chain as these provide the best return for movement 4/5

try to stay near the most dots possible, don't stray off where they are distantly spaced. Go fast, but no too fast. Make sure you aren't just randomly clicking. When you see red, speed up a little if you can and try to get ahead of it. If it is seeming to keep pace with you, cut it off by arcing in front of it and cutting it off. And try, try again!

I got to 75,000 and decided to stop paying attention and click like a maniac until I lost. I ended up with 103,000...
