Always run out of money before the last shipment. Hey barely got 80k so its alright. Still would be nice to get that last shipment in.

Dude. The author brought me into this game just by making me lol at the title. Also, really awesome game. Great job bro

General Timeline Events, just a little look into the "future" to hopefully help plan buying tea/opium: 1830: N/A. 1831: Business competition. 1832: Bengal commercial trouble. 1833: Bribe card [use before 1836], East India company monopoly abolished. 1834: Faster shipment requirement. 1835: Low opium price. 1836: Bribe card expiration. 1837: Tea price crash, increased tea demand. 1838: Commissioner investigation. Opium price drop. 1839: Win game. SIDE NOTE: If you buy too much opium/tea too quickly, the price will rise to around 80.

Oh, so risky doesn't necessarily mean 100% chance of getting busted? Because I have yet to make a trip to a risky port without having to use my bribe card, or buy my ship back. Also, that Chinese investigator or whatever is an ass. He always comes up when my ship is on route to deliver something like 60 crates for 99 and makes the destination port risky after i've already sent the ship :(

i got 130+ billion as my score :D so the hard badge is definately possible, buy cheap sell high and be willing to risk your ships if the cost is high enough because england will just give you another one!

Great job, Kong. While these users are blabberin' about badges, you totally fluked up on cultural sensitivity here. This .swf depicts the dominance of one culture over another - do you realize how debasing these events were to the Chinese??? Such outrageous, repulsive drug trafficking is illegal and a sick example of pitilessly controlling others economically and physically!
..... Sorry for all that ranting. I understand the developers called this "a questionable episode" in the history of Britain, and I know people out there are just playing this for pure fun. I just want to send a reminder to the developers, the gamers, etc., that putting such material on this website may simply stimulate mere attention, but symbolically, to someone who is Chinese such as myself, it stands for a hated period that US pres. FDR would've called a period "in which we will live in infamy."

Badges are not hard. Buy low, sell high is the easy part, but there is more to it then that. Each time you trade the risk goes up so you may want to skip on trades even before the port is considered "risky". If a port is willing to trade one to six crates for 99 that seems really good but no matter how much or how little you trade the risk will go up the same. It is probably better to wait for the next trade which may be fifty or sixty crates for 82. There is the buy and sell aspect of the game and the entirely separate risk for profit part of the game. Make the high profit risky trades when you have over 5 ships so you can forfeit one if you need to and almost never trade for less than ten crates or less than 40 silver per crate. The last shipment you will probably need to buy tea continuously even if it goes over 70 but following this advice you will have 15 to 20k saved up. You can average 90 to 100 million points easy with these tips.

I want to see anyone get the hard Badge. The best Score I could muster was 38'426'400, and although I didn't finish the game - I came extremely close, but couldn't buy enough tea in time, due to the stupid cooldown - that's the best I could do. I got extremely lucky with Opium prices, and struck a lot of ~20 crates for 99$ deals, but I think 40 Million is BARELY manageable without cheats or EXTREME luck. If there was an endless mode, it would be possible, but as is... no way, José. 40M, yes, but not 80. that's just crazy. modify the badge, please!

Ok not sure how I broke the game but I'm on the "last week" of the last year and it's said last week for about 10 mins of constant playing. I keep trading but the game refuses to end for me......?

Look, everyone is commenting that the British aren't paying for the tea. Here it is: Your opium business doesn't make any money on that tea because YOU do, for your retirement. Your illegitimate business sells opium to broker your legitimate business of selling tea to the British. That money is going in your pocket, not back into your illegitimate business. Make sense? So yeah, some cushy mansion in Great Britain has all that money waiting for you to come home after 10 years.

Can someone tell me how to play? The opening screen isn't giving me any options to play. The song keeps playing and it says High Tea, but not clickable options.

I appreciate the fast paced, though relaxed atmosphere in the game. It has some wonderful sound added to it. I enjoyed it!

Starts off too quickly in the beginning. I was trying to figure out what everything says but the years were flying buy. Suggestion: Make the first minute of the game a bit slower paced.

If flash runs slow on your computer the ships go much slower but everything else runs like they are supposed to so you pretty much have no chance at all to complete orders after some point just happen to notice it when i tried it on an older laptop.

Waaaay tooooo faaaaaast. I get that you want to make the game quick and fun and not a plodding trading game, but honestly since the demands come so quickly I can't really sit back and make choices about what I do. I have to keep up a constant flow of tea and opium. if markets are bad ... oh well. After the first 2 or 3 deliveries I was clicking on every single deal I could, as fast as I could, and constantly buying both tea and opium as fast as I could... just to make deliveries in time. I also couldn't bother with reading the ingame events, since if I did I lost too much trading/buying time. I get what you're trying to do, and have some very nice graphics for it, however it is just way too fast for a trading game.

definitely let us buy more then 30 of each at a time. How am I supposed to get 660 crates of tea in 12 weeks at the rate of 30 crates at a time. it's insane

I played this game about 30 times on ArmorGames in the past 2-3 days (since it was uploaded) and I've played about 6 times on here and I STILL cannot win. I've changed my tactics multiple times.
