Weird bug that helps alot for game; Sometimes there are only 4 or less opium buying cities. This is a great chance to earn alot of money. Even it says 'risky', just keep sending ships there. If some city locks down, don't pay the money if you have more than 2 ships. When all cities but 1 are locked down you can trade with the last city. They will propably pay you 99 per chest and even it says 'risky', it will always trade without problems. + If worked.

wow, 98-5 Milions losing at the final order... nice
I noticed that order can really be different in diffetent games: i sow final orders of 580 to 760...

This game would be utterly useless if you could buy as much tea/opium as you wanted in one go. It would totally eliminate the need to keep a constant trade. If you find yourself lacking tea, then you have to start trading for it earlier and not when the Tea Clipper has his panties wrapped around your throat. For those of you who want to be able to trade as much as possible, go to a McDonalds and order 2 million Big Macs and see what response you get.

to kittyc: right click and see if it says show all. if that doesnt work then set browser zoom lower.
now to the game, the game was good. kept me playing quite a while, but the hardest part is when the prices go sky high and you cant buy opium.

Huge problems that made a wold of been amazing game into an OK game. The benefits that you get always come when you don't need it. Like opium prices go down when i already have 100 crates. Also the market had no real pattern emerging, it just when random. It seemed like deals went amazing to shit for the rest of the game. So when i jumped at good deals when they DID pop up i always got busted. At the end of my game it was risky for pretty much everywhere. 3/5

Another thing Ive noticed are the purposeful pitfalls in the game that seem a little bit of a low blow. There have been points when the market naturally dipped down and I stock piled either tea or opium, making a good 6+ orders as fast as possible, then the game "gives" you cheap tea or opium, and you buy 2-3 in a row and all of a sudden my "frantic spending has caused a rise in price" If you're gonna put factors like that in the game we should be able to monitor them. A "market stability" meter or something similar

The point at which prices rise dramatically because of too much purchasing is much too short. By the end of the game, I found that I was constantly buying. But, my prices kept spiking because of this ridiculous addition. Also, the cities at which the deals spawn has to vary more. At least 65%+ of them kept landing in cities that were risky. Why would opium dealers go to a city that's crawling with officials? It just makes no logical sense. To me, these two things (among several others) just seem like additions thrown into the game to increase its difficulty.

Its definitely a fun game, and something new, but the game suffers from massive issues with time constraint. The "cooldown" on buying opium and tea relative to how much you can buy at a time, max, is terrible. There were points where I had well over 10k silver, and the prices of tea were to the floor, but I couldnt meet the order in time (that is to say its exact due date) because I simply couldnt buy fast enough! Also, why arent we getting paid for shipping tea to Britain? We get ships at first, but Im rarely making more then 3 trades at any given time an would rather have gotten average market value for the few hundred crates rather then a useless boat.

I just had two games in a row where I did not see a single order for opium... Consequently I lost, since I could not deliver the first tea-shipment (since I couldn't make any money).
Did the Chinse rehab-program just kick in, or is something wrong?

I don't see the start button...I don't know why but some of these games seem to not fit in the window so the parts around the edges are cut off for me. It looks like a very interesting game; I really wish I could play it!

There should be more lvls. Plz, continue developing it :D! It is so much fun and addicting. I was kinda sad, when I got the badge and the game ended already.

nice game, but gets easy once you get moving. 4/5. as for tips... buy ALL THE TIME. as long as you can make profit off opium, its worth buying. so anytime its less than 55 is ideal to buy. as for tea, in the beginning you can get buy just buying it when its really cheap, and when it is; stock up a lot. there were times when i was buying tea even though i already had enough for the next order. any time its under 30 is a must, under 50 later on. eventually, for the last levels, you must be buying opium so frenetically that youre going to have to start forking 60 to maybe even 80 for tea for the last few orders.

I suppose if you find history and math exciting and fun....one would like the game...personally, I like to get away from that stuff as a focus when I'm trying to "play".....in other words BORING as ever!!

Wonderful game, however pretty short, was able to reach all achievements first time off which lasted maybe 30-60 minutes. Easy to learn.

I think, I'd like a cup of tea. But it HAS to be from china, and bought with money from opium trading. No other tea will suffice. That is all.

Fun game, beat it on the second try. You need to stockpile tea over and above what's demanded at a fairly steady rate throughout the game; buy on demand and you'll pay over the odds, and in later years won't be able to get the required quantities fast enough due to only being allowed to buy 30 crates at a time. You also need to stockpile opium when the market crashes, I had about a year when prices for buying were 80, but for selling were mostly 30-50. I lost money that year but made it through as I had decent reserves of opium, tea and silver.

wow, for about 2 years straight prices for buying were about 80 per crate, and selling only maximum for 30 per crate, used up all my savings and lost the game because of that irregularity and, how can britain drink so much tea? they must drown on it after the 6th year

Didn't win but at least I got the hard badge. Fantastic how at the end every port was risky and both tea and opium cost +90.
