106 mil score. 696 bil. cup of teas. 306 mil opium users. Stressful game but excellent concept. My only advice: 1) Stock A LOT during the low price event. 2) Keep spare money to do that.

It looks polished, but needs some really basic things, like a restart button and higher numbered buttons. A graph displaying the movements of the market would also make for more pleasant gameplay. It also feels really static and predictable.

I say, old bean...perhaps I've been playing wrong. I've been brewing the opium, and smoking the tea. My score for the first time through was 17. Need to allow more purchase power than 30 units. 5/5, old swiffy.

Nice and addictive. Scored 55M, with a nice 200M opium users
Achievements don't work for me (MacOsX10.6, Flash 10.1), but I had fun.

"Whats that, Britain? After 9 years of faithful service, and I brought back billions of cups of tea, AND I DIDN'T GET ENOUGH FOR YOUR LITTLE GET TOGETHER? Real nice, Britain, real nice.

"Over the course of 9 years, you gave us 700 billion cups of tea. And now we want 500 crates, but you have 485? WAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!"

The learning curve is monstrous. I blinked after I started and 10 weeks went by, and the pause menu blurs out everything so that I still don't know what's going on, and now the British are going to hang me because 30 seconds went by. Still managed to get the medium badge.

My game won't finish. It's stuck at one week awaiting the order and I spent all the money and forfeited all my ships just to lose but it's still just watching market trends and deals without a way to end the game...

Risky ports should have a chance to not be caught. I don't know what the formula is, but I know every time I ever went to a risky port, I was caught.

If you have the bribe card you can sail into a risky port and it will give you the option to bribe the official to get your boat back. Try and use it on a good deal, like 23 for 99. Once you advance through a certain amount of time you automatically lose the bribe card if you haven't used it yet.

tea is a powder.... i know you drink it think of it more like hot chocolate. think of a tea bag = no lols please, so a small bag of tea would add up to one cup of tea added to hot water,

@ Mantil : If you define a cup as eight fluid ounces, that's a lot of tea; I think that it is teacups (my guess is +/- four fluid ounces), but still...

a good and adictive game, you must be quick and efficient. But after you win the party, no need to play again... NIce to play till you win.

Am I the only one who's reminded of when Jonny Depp played "The Mad Hatter" in Alice in Wonderland and yelled "TEA! TIME FOR TEA!"?
