I like the concept but I feel like there is more that could have been done with it and it could be a little more in depth.

There's something wrong with the API code : stats aren't correctly submitted (my real highscore is ~110M and I have neither the proper highscore neither the badge).

If I had 2 more seconds I could have finished my last tea order for 660 and won, but no, the British can't wait another 2 seconds.
Why is 30 the max?

Got my boat and trade region stuck on lock for the rest of the game... Some strange bug.
Also was able to get 80 million points... Without successfully completed the game.

116,712,040!! After getting like 78 and 79 million, finally got it! Like someone said earlier, it's about moving product, not necessarily about selling the opium at 99/box, always buy at under 40, and sell for over 41, and just keep moving it!

Wow the game gave me no option but too lose, needed to buy 255 crates of tea, at 90 each, and to get money i was buying opium at 90 each and the only people willing to buy were at 50, no choice there really.

best way to get hard badge is to set a 'profit margin' i.e. buy opium whenever its forty or below and sell when its 41 or above, since your ultimate score isn't based on money made (and selling as often as possible nets you a higher over all profit as opposed to waiting for the 99$ shipments) but on how much tea and opium you ship; buy tea when its low although to achieve some of the last shipments you basically need the funds to keep buying no matter what the selling price is, finally when you have a bribe card you should ALWAYS go for the risky ports, because it becomes useless after a certain amount of years anyway might as well make the most of it. otherwise the occasional trip to a risky port isn't bad and usually great money, just try not to visit the same one multiple times, because after that initial visit, the chances of getting caught rise dramatically each subsequent visit. (also please + this comment if it helps you)

Excellent game! Critical commentary grand. The sophisticated manner in which the game implicates the player in participating in oppressive or at least questionable power structures is excellent, especially as there's no moralising voice. Smooth, not unnecessarily complicated. Appropriately short. Pretty. Sweet humour.

I cannot seem to break 56 Mil. With shipments on time and making no less then $70 per crate (typically $99) how can I be 24 Mil from the badge?

Here is something bad. I got IE9 but had to run this game in compatibility mode. Please update it so I don't need to press da button all the time.

Is it just me or is the subject matter somewhat offensive? I mean you don't see anyone making a tycoon management game about African Americans picking cotton do you?

Sorry Queenie. Couldn't get you enough tea as the Tea dealers in China would only sell me 30 chests at a time, then they took about a week to sign the papers. They also wouldn't allow me to do any other Tea deals at the same time.

i got extremely lucky on many accounts, getting 2 dollar opium deals, churning out tea like no tomorrow, and still only got 4 million???? come on, that badge is friggin impossible. and i still only got 720 crates to britian

how the hell can you give 1,000 boxes/crates of tea??? in like 9 years, note that i don't even know anyone that made it past 7 years

What a deceptively addictive little game. I've been sitting here for an hour, sweating bullets as the Tea clipper pulls up. In the end, I had the British drinking 11 cups of tea per person per day. Wow. Thanks for this one, for sure! 5/5
