I DID IT! if you want to beat the game you have to conquer any kind of teritorry. don't concentrate only on defeating the army, that doesn't matter, just attack many territories.(doesnt matter how rich they are) and protect them. a common mistake is too just attack the sowiet union right away. DONT DO THAT! prepare your money( by that i mean having 100 or more k before attacking) AND MAKE A LOT OF TROOPS before you attack the sowiet union. . use the strategies carefull. everyone of them is useful at the right moment so try to save them, no matter what they do.good luck!

Russian's tank is not overpowered. just check the defense before you attack...... Myself, I win the game with a step to decoy the AI. ??How to decoy?? Breakthrough their formidable first defense first then put 1 division in 1 province then running around capturing their rich province. Don't stop run. The AI always attacks adjacent enemy province consist with weaker force...... One of the worst AI decision in my game, they have 20 tank just at Danzig. I got 1 decoy infantry at Prussia. They didn't attack my only Production City, Berlin, which in that time just have 5 tank.

i got a glitch... i cant move or select any of my units and during battles they are invisible, the battle also ends with no shown outcome

finnaly i did it! the secret is to conquer all yellow lands and after that attack the sowjet union, but be careful make a lot of units using the berlin factory in order to conuer the west front and after that it isn't as hard as at the beggining

russiansniper22, that may be so, but during WW2, more german tanks were lost due to running out of gas and breaking down than to enemy tanks. The russians actually took to driving their tanks at full speed oand ramming into them just to disable the tiger tank's powerful 88mm gun.

The soviet union is not OVERPOWERED its just you guys have poor strategy this is a strategy game and so use your minds don't expect to win every time

Russians are really overpovered! When defended belin with 6 defense and 7:1 more force and i havet 2 times bigger losses!

The Soviets are not overpowered, you just have to fight smart. Split your armies a little bit and conquer the open lands, it's a game of production. Chechnya and the other country in the far southeast of soviet territory have very high incomes 24 and 11. Also don't over look the usefulness of strategies. If the soviets mass one very large army keep them chasing you without engaging them as you carve through their territory and wear them down using air raids etc from the strategies.
Also YOU DO NOT NEED TO CONQUER THE SOVIET CITIES IN THE ORDER SPECIFIED IN THE OBJECTIVES. TAKE THEM AS CONVENIENT AND PLACE PRESSURE ON MORE THAN ONE AT THE SAME TIME. There may be a lot of give and take with those cities but eventually you can easily accumulate all the land around them and hold the cities for bigger stretches until your production is high enough to wipe out the enemy.

For me, the September Campaign would've been over much, much quicker if the Soviets weren't so overzealous about using strategies. I had to conquer each production facility several times, and then some. Was fun, though. :D

Okay the soviets need to be downpowered a bit i like the challenge but i get owned after i get more terretories and were do they keep getting tanks from that quick.i cant even take over holland with out the soviets mysteryously transporting tanks there.

Iv tried this so many attempts on the Invasion of russia and its like you attack a bit,you do ok then you get outnumbered and owned. Couldve been a great game tbh

this game sucks, soviet tanks trump artillery, tanks AND troops!?!?! 3 ships vs 3 ships with 2 defence and attacker wins????? all fighting is WAY to randomized and/or in the enemys favor. needs MAJOR balancing. needs more information on what units are good against what units and so on. i cannot see how ANYONE could have given this more then 1/5.

Weak,thought this was Germans invading Russia not other way around. Seems like they can just attack from nowhere, map is lame too countries look dumb, way underpowered for a 3 million+man invasion force. don't remember Russians attacking Poland and Hungary let alone Germany before troops even got to Leningrad or Stalingrad. This game seems like it would just go ahead and invade Germany without provocation. Way too tough right off the bat. Keep it. Sucks. If you're WW2 follower of eastern front this game will only piss you off.

this would be better if i i could have my 10 tanks attacking at the same time as my 20+ infantry so that they dont get wrecked by enemy tanks who dont die by my infantry

to take over russia....another way is toinvest in just enough tanks for the border then buy lots of "strategies" and wear them down...
