The new Quest should be called "with the X card in the deck" not "using the X card", that way it's more clear that you don't actually have to use it in the game

Sulhiril: Back in it's prime, WoO had three rooms full of players on Kong alone. Even when 5CG went bankrupt and placed it in maintenance mode, there were over 100 players in Room 1 at all times. The decline is based on the game being in maintenance mode for over two years, and players wandering off due to lack of content updates. That there's still this many people playing is a testament to it's quality. if if the devs ever found a way to get back "in" to the game, the broader audience would return on it's own. As for your other issues:
1.) Metris are generally too strong. The game isn't balanced around draft, since Draft is all about playing silly, overpowered decks and combos.
2.) Type "LOG" while the game is in focus to get a log of events.
3.) The matching is due to lack of players. MP isn't required (or the best way) to level up. Just farm AI and use Draft to satisfy your PvP needs until you're in lategame.

3. A wipe would be awful and would do nothing to help the game, and there already is an ELO system which would ideally allow people to meet others at their own skill level and due to that likely also relativly same card levels. But there are just too few players so it doesn't work and will match you with the only ones available who will be higher level. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with Metris, and they have already been nerfed a bunch, but other people agree that Metris is too strong, so yeah.

1. If they add that I imagine it will just be a ban system and they'll ban other cards than metris aswell. And possibly they'll use it to make the chances of new cards appearing higher too.
2. There is a log, but I can't remember how to find it, and it wasn't exactly a nice log for reading, just a debug log or something. Also if you are playing GM which is the level where everything goes really fast, then you should already be pretty knowledgeable about the game and be able to understand what happened without seeing every card. Though a slowdown option AND a nice log would still be nice for not missing something vital that happened too fast and just generally learning a bit more about some interactions.

Playing a game in a way it is not intended to be played and then crashing shouldn't be a surprise. That's like saying a racing game crashing after you went backwards for 600 laps is a bug. Just stop wasting processing power with pointless shit.

2000 food is not a bug. It's a limited memory space problem with Flash and your own computer's physical memory, so you probably have too many tabs open or too many other programs running in the background. Every game on here will crash when you get beyond a certain number, just like every browser will crash when there are more tabs open than the computer has physical memory for. If you have gone infinite up to 2000 food and still haven't gone for the win, then you deserve to lose the game to a crash.

bq. "A software bug is an error, flaw, failure or fault in a computer program or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways."
Crashing may be incorrect, kinda, but it isn't unexpected. So it is half a bug. :X

That's not a bug per se. The game just can't handle it, it would also have crashed with 2000 skulls and corruption, and just too many resources in general also crashes the game.

This game deserves a sequel or re-release. It's such a satisfying and unique mix of gameplay elements That I'd love to see it on a different platform.

Too much slippery slope and obvious decisions. Reminds me of Elements. I bought 70 packs and about 90% of them were common. I then upgraded my deck to try a Journeyman campaign battle, only to be swiftly annihilated. Clearly p2w, especially since you HAVE to pay to unlock packs for purchase.

I find it really strange that people spend money on a game, then when they DONT WIN because they SPENT MONEY on it, they claim it is P2W.

This seems like one of the only CCG games on kong that isnt pay to win. No energy system, and the 'card upgrade' system doesn't make cards completely overpowered because you spent 100 dollars. Generally, the one cost difference barely even makes a difference in a lot of games, unless it's from 5 to 4, or 8 to 7 (so that you can get them a turn early from the start of the game). The packs actually give you scarce and uncommon cards semi-regularly, and YOU DON'T GIVE POWER FOR HIGHER RARITIES!!! I count how many CCGs i've left the second i see the 'legendary' rarity has cards that are just strictly twice as good as the common rarity cards. Higher rarities should give more complex and fun card designs, not just "oh look its that common card but half the cost and plus one stats". Thank you so much for not selling your souls to get a quick buck out of your players! Also, the game's not dead, sweet!

Darches - it's not P2W; I've been playing for a long time, have upgraded my decks to nearly all max, and I've never spent a cent (or a Kred). Money just gets you there faster, but it's fun and playable (especially against the lower level AI to match your upgrade level) right out of the gate. The tournaments are also completely even for all players.
And no, Iskijos, the AI does not cheat.

If this was Game of Thrones, it'd make a killing. I don't even get how clicker RPG games that only have pictures, long stories and needing to befriend as many people as possible to win without skill gets money apart from being related to stuff like Game of Thrones because they got permission.

Guys, keep calm. It's only emergency repairs. That's why the game isn't "dead", but in "maintenance mode". The devs still have families to feed, which is more important than maintaining WoO. We've heard it more than once that they would love to give WoO more support, but have difficulties finding time. No reason to risk an aneurism about it. (Until some major announcement actually happens. Then I'll gladly join you all in spazzing out.)

I've played this game a lot over the years, and I mean A LOT. It's IMO the single best card game I've ever played, and so much more versatile than others in the genre such as Hearthstone, TES and now the new DOTA card game. It has, however, taken me a poop load of time to almost have all of the heroes at lvl 28 and every single coin type. Maybe you ought to up the silver gains on the single player missions, so that new players will become more attrachted to WoO (gotta love that abreviation). To get veteran players such as myself back into this game, I'd like some more, and more balanced, campaign missions for all of the factions. I really like this game, and I hope to see it sprout back, even though it might take some developement time.

Guys, please email support@warofomens.com if you'd like this game to continue and to show support.
A few of us did on Oct 31st and started a conversation with Mercurato. He is definitely interested in updating the game so that it will be kept alive here and with enough support (and possibly a kickstarter) we can see a future to War of Omens. Even perhaps new content! But we do need to support them and let them know how great this game is!
