Really great mechanisms in this game. Extremely different strategies with the different decks. Good variety inside each deck. A must to try!

Good game with lot of variety and skill levels, tournaments let you compete without having the full upgrade on all the cards.

I am a big fan of this game, it's so sad to hear the bad news from them...
Hope they can get better and keep the game development soon.

Tutorial is broken. Impossible to win with Vispitole, no combo works other then making you draw more cards....and draw more cards....and draw more cards. You never get the energy, money, food, or utitity to fight against an opponent that one shots you and everything you own....
this game gets a 1/5.

@MadpathMoth the devs went bankrupt, so they can't really work on the game anymore, they want to but it's not possible that much.
Mercurato still checks on it every now and then tho I belive.

Is this game still being updates? It seems like it's been around for a year or two but there's still tutorials that aren't finished...

This is an awesome f2p online Card strategy game & I would highly recommend anyone playing if you enjoy games such as 'Hearthstone or Magic'! Very unique twist on a game that has many copies of essentially the same type of play.

they aren't completely useless, i got an epic card on my first day playing from one of those packs. i got miracle, which seems a lil OP atm
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The idea for the game is good... But it's necessary to pay at least once if you don't want to waste your time opening dozens of useless packs.

!!DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!!
I have over 40 hours in this game, so now I can safely say it's one of the worst card games I've ever played on Kong. The RNG always favors the opponent, the upgrades take real money to actually progress in, everything about it is cancer inducing. Save yourself the frustration and play a different one, there are plenty of better card games on Kong.

@KrilleD: For me it's not that understandable, too.
You have fun? Then why not investing that few Kreds?
Until the moment when the ship will hit the ocean floor, it's a worthwhile investion. Don't be stingy :P

*playing War of Omens* *Scrolls down a bit* * Sees War of Omens on recommended games list* *Checks the game that is being played* * It is War of Omens* WTF ???

@dronetti I care because i want to buy those packs, i want to spend my gold so that i can upgrade all my cards to their maxium, or at least as far as i can with the amount of gold i have. I do enjoy the game and plays it quite often.
Or you don't really have a problem with the general idea of not puting money on a sinking ship, this concept cannot by itself raise eyebrows or be very hard to understand.

Can't they just remove that pack limit now when the game is pretty much dead? Sitting on 200k and dont wanna waste it on the cheepest pack nor do i wanna spend kreds on a dead game.

I enjoy this game a lot, the fact that you can build up your hand over time without eating up a lot of money to be powerful is great. I like helping the developers but I don't like being forced to pay lots of money to compete in multiplayer games. The strategy and luck in this game keeps it from being one sided all the time.

@Treedragon It's still a fun game and there are plenty of diverse decks to run still.. The meta is pretty set in but it isn't absolute or anything

@Ezeverlast If you spend $5 or whatever to be able to buy gold packs, you can easily get every card Uncommon fully upgraded in a few months. I've been playing a year and have every card, with 75% or more of the Scarces fully upgrades, and lots of Rares half upgraded.

@ ezeverlast
1. the campaign will probably never be finished because the devs ran out of money.
2. PvP probably only has veteran players in it, they probably dont have the cash (see point 1) but they have the time. try tournament which is significantly more fair

I think this is one of the best CCG games I have ever played. But where is the rest of the Campaign and other factions? Also PvP is just a lot of people who spent money upgrading their deck crushing me again and again. Still great game. 5/5

@exarkun there is a matchmaking system where you get people with similar deck strength.... but not enough players so it matches you with whoever else is trying to find a match
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What's with the matchmaking system? I started playing yesterday, and tried my first multiplayer match today for the daily reward. I was matched against a player who had a fully upgraded deck. Thinking it might be a fluke, I tried again and got the exact same result. It seems that in a game where multiplayer is a major feature, matching players to opponents at the same level would be important.

This is the first time a flash game holds me for such a long time! Very nice piece of work : the graphics, the nice philosophical captions before each game, even the music, and of course the gameplay itself... Definitely an outstanding job.

The players defending Bloodlust are the ones that use it, Bloodlust is Op and it needs a hitcap, if you kids want to keep discussing it them make a OP Cards Thread or something, the comment section is no place for flame wars.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
bergv i playd both and cali actaully often also plays defense and still over half the decks have cards that are hurt very badly by bloodlust simply becaus you dont play it (bad idea btw) doesnt make it bad vs endazu
