Looks like War of Omens will live on, dev response posted here: https://www.reddit.com/r/warofomens/comments/79ztq6/save_woo_on_kong/

Really pleasing to see the November 13 deadline. I am tired of games where you don't have to log in every day for your daily rewards to be worthwhile.

by far the greatest part of this game is that you don't have to log in seven days in a row in order to receive roughly three dollars of premium currency.

Another thing that I really appreciate is that you don't have to log in every day for your daily rewards to be worthwhile. I am tired of games where forgetting to play one day after building up my rewards for weeks completely resets the daily reward.

Endazu are moderately "less evil" than the rest. From the flavor texts, it seems as if they're just isolationalist mages. otoh, that may simply be because they were less developed than the rest.

There's not really a real 'good guy' among the champions really, Edmee. From the gist of the cards pretty much everyone is corrupt, extremist or dangerously involved with black magicks.

On the campaign, love this game, but I kind of hate that the "character" I'm playing is a brat. I feel I'm the bad guy, lol

Iskijos: I doubt the devs will be reading (with the game being in maintenance mode and all), but if you add a log to back up your claims, maybe the (remains of) the community might spam them with enough messages/mails for them to fix it.

ky33: press "g" during the game to generate a logfile. You can read over it to find out what happened. To my knowledge, all cases of "AI cheating" and "resource bugs" have been identified in the animations being too fast or (in the AI case) out of synch.

I very much enjoy the game or I wouldn't be posting, and I don't expect it to be fixed soon since there's a lot of adjustments that need to be done from what I read last. but but i'm having an issue where resources aren't being calculated or recorded correctly, I lean towards calculate because I keep track of my resources and I just went from the enemy getting free resources to me getting a gold I didn't have any cards played for: I run vesptole, so I watch as closely as I can to what the other player is doing, usually cpu tho

Really pleasing to see a CCG with no limit on games played per hour or anything silly like that. Well done to the devs, I hope this sets an example for the rest of the genre.

This game is such amaaaazing! Even though it's dead, it's still extraordinarily godlike. Best CCG humankind ever created, period. Just imagine if this game is not dead. There will be no conflict ever again, and humankind will be united as one under this game.
Best. Game. Ever.

...You realize this game is dead, yeah? There are plenty of glitches in the enemy AI (although some of what you're describing is just that they play not only better, but *faster* as the level goes up; sometimes when they seem to do things they shouldn't you just need to watch more carefully) and they're not going to get fixed, since there is no more dev team... (or "shill dev accounts" either, since there's no money with which to shill... :P) if you don't like the game there's no point in complaining, since it's not going to change. (Although I feel like noting that as a free player it's not hard to get to the point where you can beat Grandmaster AI, I did it back when this game was active, and so have plenty of others.)

After a long break I decided to give this game another chance, but the same things that I hate are still present. Namely the AI basically cheats past the journeyman level. I can do basic arithmetic, but somehow the enemy can hit me for more damage than it has resources. It can also play any card it wants without using any resources (or time for Endazu). I guess I didn't shell out enough real money on virtual currency to deserve an honest game. Too bad. If the AI actually followed its own rules, then it'd be a fun game. I know I'll be down-voted, but what else are fanboys and shill dev accounts for?

what's amazing is even WoO has no updates, i still think it is better than most ccg in kongs that have updates... (I have basically tried every one of them)

the devs should make the epic hero purchasable with something like 10 gems, forced to pick rare coins 20 times and no zalashir appears is starting to get irritating
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Although this game is very enjoyable, I wish that when there was a large number of cards on the field that it put them into two rows for better visibility.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would know how to replace the cards into people.
Cards had love within them.
These new decks are getting off to their cycling table.

Is there any way to see what the AI does on its turn? It's really hard to figure out why I'm losing sometimes. I can sometimes guess (like the AI must have played Malediction followed by a bunch of skull-producing draws and a bunch of embargoes...) but it would be nice to actually see what happened so I can learn from it.

@EvilJon: play the tutorials. I mostly skipped them at the beginning, since I wanted badges. Then I started to play more and also couldn't figure out the deck/bank details - so I played the tutorials again. They're really helpful.
