gotta say, a golem with 3 charges is very annoying, especially when the enemy has multiples. maybe remove the "can't be killed" with 50% go to hand when killed or 15% ignore damage.

HAHAHA! i just fought with a damareck on jorneyman, and the ONLY ally he had in his deck where the auroch herd! and even so he had the elixir, poution and boar unguent! it was priceless!

burningwings136, you can type "log" in a game to get a text log of the game. It's more useful for bug reports than finding what happened, but I hope it helps.

I like the speed of the game, but it desperately needs some kind of combat log so I can see what just happened. The computer will play something and it goes by so suddenly, I have no idea what it was.

I’m sorry if some/all of my previous criticisms have been taken as offensive or insulting towards the game. Let me make this clear: I think that War of Omens is an awesome, 5 star game. I play it just about every day and I have a lot of fun while I’m playing. I’ve gotten a ton of cards, including 2 epic coins, without spending a dime, and consider this, hands down, one of the best games on Kongregate. That having been said, there’s always room for improvement, and one thing this game lacks has been rather frustrating at times: either a speed control (so players can tell what the AI is doing) or a play log (so players can tell what it’s done). Just something that makes those blurring dozen-card turns of the AIs explainable. Losing isn’t always a bad thing, but it’s always frustrating when you can’t tell WHY you lost.

@descilope actually in medieval times it took about 20 well armd soldiers to take down 1 wild boar ... and usually atleast 3 or 4 got hurt it wasnt uncommon for 1 to die either

Well, let's see if this has happened to anyone else: playing against a Grandmaster Theodox. He's been dropping thugs and frames like mad and I've been struggling to stabilize but I finally build up enough board presence that he's forced to Mayhem, wiping out all of our allies. I'm thinking "great, I'm daramek and I'm holding a repopulate, so I just need to draw or bank an ally and I'm back in business. There's no way he'll recover before me." Then my cat starts calling for dinner. I take my turn, pass back to the AI and go tend to the cat. When i come back my board is completely empty and the AI has four thugs and about ten of my allies on his field. Boy, I REALLY wish I knew how he managed that!

This is a really well made game, although I'm not so sure about some of the balancing issues on individual cards. But it plays fast, is (usually) clear (it's amazingly clear if you know all the cards), and the music is just right. Good text---all around great FTP game.

The third fight of chapter 1 on the Journeyman difficulty seems broken. Every time your opponent plays an ally card, he receives a skull.

Zarby seriously shut the hell up, Click the bloody thing... Every time i look in the comments you are here saying "you're not gonna play because they keep asking you to vote" yet here you are, still playing... Just click the damn thing and it will go away. It isn't rocket science!

Ok, how can I have 30+ cards in my deck of which only 4-5 are coins and I only draw 4-5 cards several turns in a row??? While my opponent has a deck of less than 20 and draws non-coin cards non-stop ...
Am I missing something on how to draw non-coin cards from the deck???

@joeboon the XP differs depending on the rarity of the maxed card. 100 for a common/400 for uncommon /2000 for scarce/10000 for rare. Note: There are currently no epic non-hero non-coin cards in the game.

I was pretty disappointed when I got my first fully upgraded card, and then it appeared again to get XP. I was expecting the card to no longer be able to be picked so I could easily fully upgrade all my cards. Spending money on XP is a complete waste. At least make the XP more than a 1:1 ratio.

Couldn't upgrades do more than just lower the cost of cards. It was a bit of a turn-off for me IMHO. Still a fun game 5/5

I think that this is ok, i had nearly upgraded golem when it was nearly useless, and then it was buffed. When i finally got frame i was so happy to see the next day it was nerfed. Just wait and all cards will be in some way good they are trying to make the game balanced.

starting to get frustrated about card balances, i have spent lots of time and money to upgrade cards that then get a point added to them, i think that if i upgraded them once it should either prorate me my points or unupgrade the card so i could at least start again

Just met AI jesmai in grand master, Suprised to see that she had a deck filled with incriptions and no animas when her power is specifically desiged for anima, and I have to ask: Are AI decks built by the devs or just generated by the game ? Btw great game, I've spent more than 50hs playing this.

got IV rank cards twice yesterday and just got underworld barge today! and you guys say oak pack sucks! asides from coins, you don't need o spend money to get good cards, just time.

You need to re-word the gilded scribes. The way it is worded on the card implies that it affects all the cards that can gain charges, but it only works on inscriptions still. Or you could change how it works, that would be lovely too.

Thumbs up to the devs for making 4 so different factions in playstyle, feel, lore, graphic and still having 3 different cardtypes that is completely in style with the factions.
I must say that this is one of the best CCG I have ever played. It combines a certain simplicity of learning with a vast number of possibilities and variation, while still having great replayability.

I think they might've overcorrected on the Vespitole troops. Serf/Militia/Mercenary/Soldier/Knight all intercept, everyone except the Serf attacks once, their Healths are 1/1/2/3/4, and their retaliate chances were 0/0/0/25%/50%. Now their retaliate chances are 0/25%/50%/75%/100%. The Militia is already more powerful than the Serf by being able to attack, so maybe the retaliate chances should be more like 0/0/25%/50%/75. Just a suggestion.

So I'm looking through the comments, and anything even remotely negative has 20 or more downvotes. Its like there is some concerted effort on the part of makers of this game to just shut down any comment that is glowing.
