Also, if you're a firefox user, you won't be able to play the game. It will freeze up when you go to "cast" your first card. I had to use IE 11.

Very strange game. I still don't understand what I'm doing. Couldn't have gotten the badge without using the "Get Advice" every turn. 3/5 Make sure you use "Campaign" to earn the badge of the day.

By the way, if you beat the campaign and think phoenix is op, now another challenge is to fight the arch-mage in the custom deck section. You will certainly change your mind as phoenix rarely works on arch-mage.

The random custom deck seems to be bugged, if you pick cult, spirit, golem and vampire and select random, the system give you a wrong class instead.

Fun Trick: Rescue Operation not only works on enemies, but will move spell immune enemies, such as volcanoes, walking stones, golems and pretty much anything. So can Portal Jumper on your side.

At this time, having played with almost all powers, one big issue comes forth: the need for Multiplayer! But not via an exe file that requires installations, that is not for me. *.exe = extreme hack opportunity. Why not a real multiplayer like all other games, using Kongregate servers. We press a button, go to a room and POW, we're playing versus battles.

Lorena the illusionist battle 3 is broken, she is way too overpowered and has cards you dont yet aswell as starting with advantages. that battle needs balancing better.

"Defeat League As" achievements seem not to work? Completed League of Heroes on all difficulties as a few different types and got nothing.

Could anyone let me know how the point scoring system on Kong's High Score Lists works? I assume it's not the same as the in-game 'fame' score... Is there any way to find out how many points you earned after a given duel or even a single move/turn? Thanx!

@explodehorse: I believe you can safely destroy the WoR without any ill effects (destroy, not kill). Of course that means wasting a tornado or disintegrate to do it but sometimes that may be useful. So yes, maybe it is overpowered but so are other cards in the right circumstances (like phoenix if the fire power stays in double digits).

Is it just me or is Wall of Reflection overpowered? The only way to get rid of it is to sacrifice 20 health, and while you can just avoid placing creatures opposite it, it still takes damage from all-creature spells, and if the opponent's creature dies, a WoR can be shoved right in there. Which means that in all likelihood, the highest damage creatures will be the ones with a WoR placed in front of them, which means you're more likely to receive more damage from it per turn.

Whether they're allowed by Kongregate or not, isn't the point. They're annoying and detract from the game (and who knows what kind of privacy issues they create). Using these spammy ads, makes me question the safety of the game. If you want to chase away all of your players, by all means leave them in.
There is not objectionable ad. In our games We can have game thumbnails and outgoing links to sponsor's website to promote sponsor's website.
If anything in game against T&C of Kongregate, please tell explain to me, I will take the appropriate action.

They should really add a PVP option on this, it would be really cool to fight other players with the cards you collect.

I appreciate the creator making free advice for the player who is novice to this kind of game. BOTD came eventually, not too short, not too long. If you don't know what you're doing and you just want the badge, just click "Get Advice" on each turn and do it. It's not a long grind.

Honestly one of the best games on this website. I loved the interesting strategies and finally beating an opponent who kept defeating you over and over again.

Love this game! Please put in higher duel life numbers. 400 life or something. Give us the ability to type in a number or pick 2x, 3x, 4x, etc. on Campaign, Arena, all of them.

Time after time, year after year, no matter what other games I've played in the meantime, I always seem to find myself right back here, a true sign of a timeless and engaging game - brilliant!
The one question I have is: Is there any benefit or expanded gameplay with the purchased version of this game over the Kong one here? It seems as if you've done so much to open up previously locked options (i.e. like custom decks), that there may not be much incentive to buy it... Please do not take this as a sign to make things unavailable again, though! These added features help bring the game to a wider audience and make gameplay much more enjoyable.

I wish there were way to have at least 2 specialties and vs opponents with that also. It would add so many more combinations to try out. The game has been the way it is for many years. Update with more?

Got 2 messages from the dev saying if I left the game due to ads it has been fixed! When I played this back in 2013 there were no ads to begin with... Amazing game though! Secretly wishing this was a phone app with added content so I could play it all the time.

After diving many many hours into this awesome game I have gained the opinion that Faerie Apprentice is the best card. Only 1 Power for a 4/12 is outrageous, and the fact that it helps your other spells is just gravy.
