No planning is required in the long run, you'll get enough experience to max out everything really. It does ease up things a good bit to skip shotgun entirely though, because at least to my experience its quite terrible. SMGs till you get lasers upgraded to decent level, EMP as soon as you get it, same with tri-laser. Easy enuff.

to be honest,if you put shotty in 1 and 4,rockets as shoulders,skip main slot,and smg on rest it looks like AnIn-D35 Fire Storm in Pirate Galaxy...

To everyone saying you need shields to beat Wave 21: You don't. It's hard, but with good weapons, you really don't.
As for the giant tanks, I thought thay were meant to be like a miniboss, not a SWARMER. They're too overpowered to be as common as they are.

I think that a sandbox or unlimited mode would help keep the game playable after the main 30 waves or maybe some in game achievements or challenges. It's a great game but SO much more could be done to make it a truly AWESOME game. Maybe even custom mechs? paint, speed, armor etc...

I have at least a page and a half of this game with only my comments in it. I spoke far too soon for not being able to unequip weapons. It's just horribly difficult to happen to come across.

I hate saying things like "one last time" or "just one more"... Cuz it's always a lie. Did you know that alien robots can walk and shoot through walls with ease? They can also move in the direction they're aiming.

One last thing (for now)... I just realized how dumb it is to let enemies overlap each-other in a fully-3D game. REMEMBER: No two objects can occupy the same space at the same time.

Ugh. I hate it when developers are stupid enough to not synch X and Y movement. You don't go 1 speed in each direction while pressing both buttons!
In case you don't know what I'm talking about, try this: Move left and right a few times, and take notice of how quickly you move. Now, try going up and down a few times. Same speed, good. Now, try going diagonal - notice how it moves a bit faster when you do this instead. This is what happens when a developer is too stupid to put in a simple formula. It's not too big of a deal, but it helps prove that this dev didn't put nearly enough thought into this game. More proof, you need? The slot weapons compared to the base weapons are horribly unbalanced. There's no way to un-equip weapons. The in-game clear-data function is too buggy not to be noticed during testing, if any was even performed.

Not quite on your strategy, but your... style. Because of that ratio, I was able to, without moving from the top corner, kill all of the blue crabs on level 11 with four shotguns compared to 80 crabs with four machineguns. Shotguns are your friend! Don't spend ANYTHING at all until the shotgun is available for purchase, not even on your primary weapon (one shotgun pellet = one base weapon bullet... FUNNY HUH >_ll carry you well through the majority of the game.

FFS. If you do the math, the fully upgraded machine gun has far superior damage per second to the fully upgraded shotgun (including reload rate and clip size in the equation). Though, since each individual bullet from the shotgun has a solid ratio to the health of the average drone, it depends completely on your play strategy. That's why I use both ^_^

Very good game 4/5 but i just feel annoyed at the lazer, which just didnt look powerful. i mean add muzzle flash or something to make it look better.

4/5 has a ton of potential. like actually having different armor rather then colors. building the mech from a little pilot thing to a full size mech diffrent modes like defend an oblective elimanate a boss etc. one thing tho it gets hard as soon as u hit wave 8 which is really early on

Honestly, very very fun game. However, the difficulty ramp is really annoying. What i mean is that lvls 1-19 are easy, and then tanks come in and things are 5 times harder. And plus I can't beat it the first run through, making me do EVERYTHING ALL OVER AGAIN. 4/5

Oh and for people that are having trouble just get and upgrade either the machine guns or the shot gun x4 until you have the lasers available. Ignore the rocket launcher and the heavy main gun seeing as the shot gun or machine gun should be enough until the lasers are available. You should be able to buy all 4 lasers and almost fully upgrade them when they come out. I had the lasers x4 tri-laser and emp fully upgraded by L27. Do not use both shot gun and machine gun. Pick one and stick with it until you can get the lasers.

Overall pretty good game. The replay is rather stupid seeing as if you beat it the first time you certainly wont have any trouble with all your equipment maxed. Next the latter levels were rather too easy though there were times that it got tricky. I think the walkers should have been given a week ranged attack as well as a strong melee attack. The spinning blades are about right and the mix is pretty good. The latter levels are a bit too easy especially with the heavy tanks only coming out in ones or twos or threes. They really need to have more at a time like some of the other enemies do. A good enemy to add would be a pulsing emp enemy that moves kind of like the blade guys but have a push back effect and maybe heavy damage as well. Overall a rather easy game that is pretty fun to play once.

The only hard lvls are the 2 or 3 right before you get EMP.... EMP just says GAME OVER.
The fact that tank's attack have a range limit is just..... well... too easy. If they didn't, I think I would be chanllenged... a little.
but emm.... might be adding an auto fire trigger would be nice... cause holding down mouse button for a hour is... painful. and except a few lvl of few mobs, that's what u gonna be doing.
And lastly, I'd like the small lasers to be either longer or faster(can be weaker dmg wise for balance) so it would be a continous beam.... segments don't speak laser to me...

I really hate how lvs21-24 are the HARDEST in the game! To be honest, I found lv30 one of the easiest compared to lv21-24. My tip is, don't upgrade the first main cannon, fully upgrade the SMG, buy a armour when it appears, the shotgun is useless and buy 4x lasers for your slots ASAP. It should make lvs 21-24 easier

only a thing...make something to earn more exp...sell weapons, repeat level...the game is funny...but the level 21 is impossible to do without the shield...and i haven't it...T_T..
