what utter rubbish ... can't calibrate, and nothing works except the [ & ] keys ... 1/5 until this gets fixed, otherwise it's unplayable, and just a complete waste of time

I tried it and kept getting annoyed with the pacing. One miss an you have to start at the very beginning, which can sometimes be 10 plus seconds of either straight or sub straight blocks. Then at some points you will fail on a straightway and you don't know if it was the game not matching a tick (slower computers only) or if it was you blinking not a seizure thanks to the pulse technicolor backgrounds.

Propably the worst game I've played on the site so far. From insults in the completly broken tutorial (at least now i know that my device offset is 0.43 and that I'm an inconsistent knob) that doesn't explain what it it's propose is or what one is supposed to do to the random timing clicking game that is so far remove from the beat that it should be remove from "rhythm" and put into "clicker"

so i can blow through every tutorial and level first try and get through it all but all of a sudden on the last lvl here i am 3 hours later and cant make it to %40. obvious difficulty curve when it comes to timing i suppose

So.. there should be an impossible badge for this. Beat level 3-X at 1.5 or something. Also- there should be an option to set the speed from the beginning after you beat the game. Playing through at higher tempo would probably help with practice to beat the faster 3-X's.
Thirdly- I wish it would save my progress in the 3-X advancement D:

one major thing i gotta love about this game is how you can play with basically any button you so desire, you could decide you wanted to play the whole game using the right mouse button or the letter 'A' its completely up to you.

Attempting 3-X over and over again has just somehow ruined my entire sense of timing and tempo. I just... I can't. I just can't.

I absolutely adore this game. Nice work dev! I hope you work on making a sequel and really would LOVE to see a level editor, where you can link to a soundcloud or youtube or add an mp3 file and create the map and tempo. Maybe for later levels add a 3d like effect to allow for quaternotes and to double back on the path you already took. Like it shows the path you'll have to do in a different colour under the path you're currently taking. All in all I've definitely enjoyed this game and hope to see more from you in the future.

The tutorials could have been nice if they had taught you the rhythm for the end of 3-X. Having to decode a new rhythm while playing for the first time is not an easy thing to do.

In fact it is made worse by the slightly frivolous "rotating" of the screen. No one takes your manuscript and turns it on it's side during your rehearsal/ AAARGHHGHG

Hmm. I think you really need checkpoints for the X levels. But, you'd have to "earn" them by mastering the song up to that point, e.g. only after 5 perfect times in a row does it let you start later on. Like when you're learning a song on an instrument and can't get past that ONE bit, you practice only those few seconds until you get it. Really frustrating being forced to go through it all again, it hinders your improvement.

I looked at this beat map and passed 3-X in one run. Each * or - is half a beat, * = beat, - = no beat. / appears every 8 beats, // = slight variation, /// = major variation. Replace each /, //, and /// with a line break, draw a dashed line at each //, and a solid line at each /// for best results. *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-/*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-/*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-/*-*-*-*-*--*--*-//*-*-*-*-*-*-***-/*-*-*-*-*--*--*-/*-*-*-*-*-*-***-/*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-///*--*--***--*--**/*--*--***-*-*-*-/*--*--***--*--**/*--*--***-*-*-*-//**--*--***--*--*/**--*--***--*--*/**--*--***--*--*/**--*-*-*-*-*-*-///*-*-*-*-*-*--*--/***-*-*-*-*--*--/***-*-*-*-*--*--/***-*-*-*-*--*--//***-**--*-*--*--/***-**--*-*--*--/***-**--*-*--*--/***-**--*-*--*--///*

For those who wants to practice the rhythm uninterrupted, the three long songs are available at https://soundcloud.com/fizzd.

I can hardly classify this as a proper rythm game. Sure, the game's built on rythm, but your buttonpresses aren't on the beat, but slightly before the beat. this really ticks me off, especially when trying to beat level 1-x with a faster beat. press + if you agree!
