On the main screen, the square that is 2 squares left of the entrance to World 2 is the only square that does get a color when you step on it.

This game had me cheesing so hard. Such a simple but effective concept! Really made me miss creating music and playing an instrument!

The description of the game is quite accurate. I wish I had a better sense of rhythm so I can hear the rest of the song, and I wonder if I'm embarrassing myself when I tap my foot to music. The tutorial bits seem vastly easier than the complete piece for world 1; are they the same speed?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
sooo are you supposed to watch the balls or try to follow the rhythm? cause it seems like the rhythm does not go well with the ball movement...

I would recommend adding checkpoints to the longer songs, then add an achievement or ranking for getting through a song in one go. It would be nice to be able to practice the end of a song without having to slog through the part that I already learned. I really like this so far though. It's really easy to mess up a rhythm based game with inconsistent timings, but you nailed it here.

I am still quite confused on the offbeat point in 2-X. I will wait for the tutorial, but otherwise, that kinda sucks.

If only we could downvotes comment of developer himself...
Strongly disagree with the fact that the song should be the reward ... No mistake allowed is very VERY frustrating. 1/5 for punishment.

Some of the colors are a little bit faded... I think it would be a little better with mostly bright colors (including black and white)

2-X is unresponsive during the long straight section. I always regardless of how "perfect" my timing is on it, it "misses" at 67% every single time. Either there is a glitch in the game or the visual is wrong
It's cause you have to hit offbeat when you start moving north! It wasn't clear enough if you didn't realise you were supposed to hit offbeat, and i'm adding another tutorial level to really hammer in the offbeat point.

I'd like it if the speed increase you earn by beating 3-X could be applied to the other long levels. Otherwise, I love this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
will you make this game where you dont have to be perfect i have actually punched the keyboard from messing up so much and haveing to start over
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It would be really cool if after completing each "x" stage you a code generated that allowed you to download that song

Maybe give a one mistake life? I find myself messing up by a hair because of a corner beat and it really ruins my whole mood! But great game I was smiling and laughing almost all the way, I even cheered after doing a song 14 times over.

I think there should be 2 offsets, an audio and a video; whenever I get the audio in sync with my keyboard, it seems the video doesn't quite line up, so I ended up just playing without looking on the Wind-Ups. Plus, adding a track-less mode would be cool, so you have to play off of memory. And having it not zoom out so far when you fail, so you can see the track and practice the hard parts without music. Good game, yo.

Love the game, one reason I am not giving it five stars:
Forcing players to go all the way back to the beginning of a level for one mistake is too harsh. i enjoyed the game and the music but stopped enjoying it when I had to play the same part over again.

Well, I'm officially addicted to this game. Im at about 67% in the 2_X level. A couple of tips to help improve the game:
- Make a music menu with the music you've unlocked. For example, if you get to 52% of 2_X, you can listen to the first song and 52% of the second song.
- A "Return to Menu" button
- Why is this only the second hardest rhythm game? Make it harder xD (no please dont)

I started playing days ago, and I think I'm addicted. I can't quite pass the wind-up, and I think I'm breaking my keyboard. On a side note, I absolutely love the game, but there should be some sort of checkpoint, so when you're in the middle of something and make one tiny mistake, you don't have to play the WHOLE song over again...

Ok now it's very frustrating. I've got a good rythm sense, I'm pretty good in games like dance dance revolution and "synchronisation" games, so that's not the issue. It's very frustrating to keep loosing on very easy moments, even if I don't accelerate or what. I don't even know what's the problem sometimes when it suddenly fails... I'm struggling with 3X Wind-up, I've been playing it so many times I begin to be bored by the song and know it by heart. I think there's an issue of precision or smth like that. I like hard games, but it seems to me that this one is more luck than skills... And that's a shame cuz I really like it, this point put apart..
I hope you'll soon add the checkpoint thing because I'm not having fun anymore and I wish I would :/

man, this is a really good game, but for some reason i have a really instable fps rate, so it is really hard to hit :/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I hate the fact that you make the level dependent on the music then make the beat random and impossible to hear. Then there's the added challenge of guessing which direction the screen is going to turn and no reasonably predictable rhythm to the song... I gave it a 2/5 because i like the small amount of music i got to hear before rage quitting. I love music games but this just infuriated me.

I would love to see a graph of which blocks I failed on. It would be interesting to compare it with a global graph as well.

You're timing is completely fucked. You really need to improve the calibration methods because as the tempo increases, the accuracy goes to shit. Great concept, but the execution is lacking.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Sometimes I think the time gap between when it is accepted and not, should be increased. I've calibrated again and again, and I can even hear my pressing of the button on the same time as the beat, yet even during the 'straights', unless I actually look at the beat rather than listen to the rhythm (which I don't really like doing), I end up dying - this tends to be a bigger problem in faster songs.

This game is extremely catchy. IF by some chance you manage to make a diagnostic tools for custom songs you could actually charge money for this game in parallel with Audiosurf. i would happily pay $10 even $15 for something like this, but then again it would be tricky

Would be amazing if there was an option for the countings to be displayed after successfully playing each one (if its even possible). Good practice even for a semi-experienced drummer! 5/5
