Magnificence. I loved this game, and the fact that the map grows larger after level 2. One of the best games on Kongregate, without a doubt.
5/5, One I'd play again in a heartbeat.

Holy cow! I thought the game was an excellent Risk clone, then I found the custom game toolset. Now it is by far the best Risk-based game I've ever seen, and even tops the original!

im not sure if you got the idea from another game on kong (as there is one but i cant remember, world rebellion or something) but this is by far superior

I both hate and love this game at the same time. I hate it because the enemy defies all odds and win with only two armies against my 5 and I love because it's like Risk, only on steroids. 5/5

This game is fun, but it has serious flaws. I hate games where the "AI" involves simply stacking the odds against the player. I play smarter than the AI, but it wins because it can attack 8 against 7 and win, whereas I attack 12 on 7 and lose half my army.
The human and AI play by the exact same rules. 8v7 is only a 6% chance, so if you really saw that, you should go buy a lottery ticket. Also, in custom games, you can adjust how much that luck affects the game by dragging down the Luck Percentage setting.

I found a glitch! You cannot invade Asia from Alaska, although the yellow lines say you can. Please fix; if screwed up my strategy. Otherwise, 5/5.
You have to zoom out so that you can see both at the same time (zoom buttons are in the bottom right corner of the map). Or you can click one, then click More Info, then select the other from the list.

I just beat the second challenge. Iceland shall rule the world! I love going back and watching what happened in the fog; enemies I thought were tough had had their guts ripped out from them by a foe on the other side. I love free-for-alls. I'd love if you could forge alliances in-game though.

Also perhaps clicking on the arrow towards the country you want to attack would be nice. Sometimes hitting the country is a bit hard.

what would be nice is a "half" button. So you can just click it and half of your army attacks one spot. Sliding the slider over and over is tedious

I wish the map was like a world / circle and could cycle around and around. It is very annoying to have to zoom way out to attack from one side to the other.

It would be nice if there were some instructions on how to play. It is LIKE Risk but NOT Risk. Put some damn instructions in.
The tutorial shows enough to get up and running, but if you want the nitty gritty details check wiki.warlight.net - it's all there! (The game links there under the Help menu)

Great game but I have to condem it because there is no sign of new zealand. Jokes aside I do have one complaint. I'm not familiar with risk but why do my three remaining armies withdraw after leaving the enemy teritory with one army?
Once you get to level 3 you'll find New Zealand -- the first two levels are smaller tutorial maps. For the combat question, the combat actually doesn't work like Risk - you can read about how it works on the wiki: http://wiki.warlight.net/index.php/Combat_Basics

Hey Frizzerwl, are you the same developer that did the web based game ? Outstanding game ! Any chance of porting it over to the Android or Apple OS ?
I am indeed the same developer - WarLight is a one man show. And yes, I'm working on Android and iPhone versions - stay tuned to blog.warlight.net for availability!

There are very few times I wish I could rate something 100 stars, this is one of those times. You sir, have created a masterpiece.

Good game, but the AI on the 2nd level doesn't seem right, it places way to many troops, that or they get way better cards and many more cards than the player does.

Wow, I'm really not into Risk clones at all, but this game is an exception! It is simple, intuitive, sleek, efficient, and fun! Well done dev!

tip 1: attack undefended territories with gusto!!!
tip 2: when facing overwhelming forces fall back and let the enemy spread out their troops. Then give them a pincer ooportunity where they will move a large group into a small area. Defend with an even larger group if possible wiping them out.

Blue piled 250 + armies on Madagascar while having 1-2 army everywhere else... is he really that scared of an epidemic?

I'm just sitting at my computer starting the tutorial, then I realised I was attacking Australia, and the enemy was coming from where I live...we arn't that evil, are we?

The first two levels are pretty much Risk in a nutshell. After that, when you can view the entire map, it kinda turns into Risk on steroids without the bad side effects. I believe a 5/5 and fave is in order. You successfully changed Australia from THE fortress to a valid and frightening battleground.

There needs to be a better way of dealing with allies and your units. Having the ally absorb your units without any option makes it impossible to deal with enemies in your territory in close proximity to an ally. It literally ruined my game because I ended up with no army at all.

I found that it is possible to attack the opposite side of the map without zooming out. Just click on the one you want to attack with, click on more info which brings up all the adjacent territories and you can select one which then brings up the attack menu. Or you could just zoom out like the devo said which does not take as long to do as the way I described.
