for people struggling with the 6 turns or less, start in southern europe instead of scandinavia. you need to get lucky with 2 troops taking the rest of europe while your other troops move towards australia.

God bless this game is everloving stupid.. Should be a defined turn sequence so i don't have to wipe the sae person from existence 40 times. They shouldn't be able to move in the process of killing them when there are 6 bordering countries. Total crap.

+Angrybirdmonster I suggest you have 3-5 sons, educate them to value fame and success above all else, then divide the world between them but not in separate continents, but carving ridiculous borders instead like the initial Pakistan-India partition, worldwide, then retire to a secluded island and watch the world burn again.

I think there should be supply lines, so that an army surrounded by my own territory has a tougher time of it. It's pretty annoying, and they never get anywhere.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is the worst strategy game I have played in a long time, and all because of a game-breaking glitch. Sometimes, when you allocate armies to a territory and send said armies to attack a neighbouring territory, your territory still appears as having the armies it had before the allocation. After you send the armies it goes back to having what you gave it; this makes it impossible to capture anything in just one turn; you have to allocate, leave your territory ide, and on the next turn, attack. The music is good tho.

@jaktenba there are two other teams with three on each team, thats why they dont attack each other. its difficult, but i have done it twice

i'm fed up of trying to win on crazy. I feel like the jump in difficulty is just ridiculous. I find myself forever playing level 3 (i don't like the mechanics in level 4)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, the "crazy" level (5) is ridiculous. It's not fun to lose over and over again. The best I've done so far was get ahold of north and south america, and the iceland/greenland area, but the one color, who i couldn't see, apparently won the tipping point of forces somewhere out in the fog, and suddenly hammered at me with 20 and 30 upgrades from all sides.
It's not mathematically difficult to play the other games, but this level is a waste of time. I've tried it for hours, every year or so now, and can't beat this level. I think it's sheer luck if you do.

oh and not to mention every time an enemy attacks my territory that only has 1 army, with only 1 or 2 armies their self they always win, usually without losing anyone. But when I attack one of there's that has 2 armies with 7 of my own I lose 5.

tough but fair my a**. I understand lvl 5 is supposed to be difficult I mean there are 6 enemies. But when every game I'm either just 2 steps away from an enemy or surround by enemies on 10 different fronts within 4 moves, WTF? Plus they refuse to fight each other deciding to focus solely on me.

i was just like 'wtf?' my ally conquers a land first and instead of canceling my troops just transfer and fight for my ally now? so Im kinda screwed :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
This is the perfect balance of difficult but fair and I like how the game lays out the mechanics for you every time you attack. You know exactly what you are getting into, making it that much worse when that 80% attack fails miserably.

With the bigger games, there comes a point where it's clear who has won, but the game doesn't end for dozens of turns more.

When I was a younger I would drew territories on a piece of paper and would play 'War Light' with a rubber and a pencil. Saying no more to that. Thanks Fizzer for your time and dedication you have invested in this magnificent game.

Sometimes, after watching what my enemies do and what I forgot to do, I really wish there was an "Undo Last Move" button. But I guess the game would have probably been too easy if it was like that. In addition, I could save before every new move to see if that is what I want, but I am being a bit too impatient. Still I am having tons of fun when I'm in the mood of a strategic thinking game like this.
