I find that often if the enemy breaks through your contain and gets to neutral ground, it creates a wild goose chase, where you just follow his path until he either fails to capture enough countries, or the neutral countries run out. I don't see this as any game flaw, I just find it amusing to sit through 10 turns just following the colour which isn't yours. That's what the speed turns are for, aren't they?

What a wonderful game! Quite brilliant. I especially love to watch the history during the Level 3 map. To see what I was thinking and imagine what would be going on in the AI's "head". The best strategy game on Kongregate. And the music! Oh I just loved the music made me think I was really there. The sound effects do the same for me as well. I will always play this game. And more like it if you continue, since this is your first, I expect them to be as good as this one or better! Good show mate, Keep them coming.

Let's say that I've got one opponent left, with only one country - let's say Kazhakstan. Problem is that he has been stacking up an army there for a long time, and has 50 units in that country. Now, I have all the 6 countries surrounding him with 10 troops in each. Since there is no way to do a combined attack (apparently the countries under my rule don't communicate with eachother) I have no way to break him at all. I would very much like to be able to do simultaneous attacks with multiple countries on the same target.

Finally after all these years Kamchatka will be mine!!! Great game, now if only it was this easy to take over the world in real life...

It doesn't matter if the AI doesn't JUST target the player. It is way to aggressive. It attacks anyone in site no matter what. Please, tone down the AI a bit. They're attacking me in like turn 4 or 5.

The concept of the game itself isn't very new, but what makes this excellent is its focus on playability and functionality. Instead of, say, little animated marching armies everywhere, it has zooming, and panning and saves. The only thing I would suggest would be to make it so that the map should wrap when panning.

Yep, I'm amending my previous praise - after a number of plays, the AI is just overly aggressive. I have seen the AI attack other AIs about 1 out of 10 opportunities, and their buildup is only ever on my borders, VERY infrequently on borders with other AI players. They all gun for the human player, it seems, if given the opportunity. I'm finding this game very difficult to be intereste din playing... seems like a lost cause as soon as the AI sees where you're at.

I remember playing something like this on my Nokia some time ago. That game had better look to it. Actually, I remember that game being called armies of war

"Actually the AI treats the human player no differently than other AIs. The code doesn't even look at the IsHuman flag."
Then the AI is waaaaay too aggressive. Seriously, they're suiciding on me right from the start.

Fun game... but games take soooo long! There should also be some different kinds of cards. If you know Lord of the Rings RISK, it has interesting cards. This just has the same 1/3 card, with the same 6 troops every time you turn them in. 4/5
Actually there are 12 different types of cards: Reinforcement Card, Spy Card, Reconnaissance card, Surveillance Card, Abandon Card, Blockade Card, Order Priority Card, Order Delay Card, Airlift Card, Gift Card, Diplomacy Card, Sanctions Card. You want more types than that?

Starting up: Hmm, it's a simplified RISK, Okay I like that board game.
Currently at Level 3: Oh hey, it's an awesome-fied version of RISK, okay I love this game

Really needs the pin to mouse feature of pop up windows removed; at least if possible keep them within the window. I spend more time wrangling off screen windows than I do playing the game sometimes. Otherwise it works splendidly and it is fun to play with all the different modes.

Surprisingly perfect game, I was expecting a "light" simulator and ended up with a rather indepth one. Very well done

As much as I absolutely abhor the RISK board game, this version is phenomenal! There are some minor UI complaints (reinforcements/attack windows appearing off-screen when selecting territories near the right edge of the screen) but otherwise this is a fantastic game!

Suggestion: If I scroll the screen, don't deselect the territory. It makes it annoying to attack from one side to the other.

Imo, Make multiplayer available on kongregate aswell, and get the api if u haven't already..it would make this game possible to get badges, which will get alot of people to play this game. plus if you add mutliplayer on here you will have players who come back , now you can complete 6 maps but thats pretty much it, why not get mp on here too? is it to big or something? :s

level 3 is cool at first but if you don't have half the map by about 20 turns it gets ridiculous and the AI swamps you. the player needs more assistance! 6 armies reinforcement card is good but eventually it gets useless.

Let me start off by saying this has brought me many hours of entertainment.
But it's really annoying how the AI has an "attack the player every chance I get" mentality. And it doesn't help that they usually spawn on the same continent. Please fix the AI and spawns.
you have to zoom out so that you can see both at the same time (zoom buttons are in the bottom right corner of the map). Or you can click one, then click More Info, then select the other from the list.

I like this, but I do have one complaint. The moves that are chosen should be made in the order the user did unless affected by other armies. This would allow you to move all of your armies into one country and then use that one country with all the armies it will have instead of all of the armies it currently has.

I love it, it gets rid of all that card and logistical bullcrap that keeps me from actually playing risk. A beautifully executed game that's easy to play and fun!

Awesome game. I, like many others, didn't expect much, but I am very impressed with the level of detail: territory data, player data, graphs, etc. However, when I rated the game (5/5) Kong took me to another page, which pissed me off, since I lost the game I was in the middle of. I don't think this is the dev's fault though...

I've seen a similar idea before in a game, but this is on a different level. When you get to level three, that is when the party starts.
