This is awesome. Fog of war is the best thing to happen to Risk. My one complaint is that the dark grey player is really confusing at first (I couldn't tell if it was neutral territory, or what...)

Its a nice game, but what ruined it for me is how you placed the geography of Canada. Being Canadian, your equivalent would be like me labelling Texas as Florida. It is *Northwest Territories*, and you actually labelled Manitoba and Alberta as Ontario and British Colombia as Alberta. :(

Ok at first i was like, bla bla bla you made risk... congrats. But then i stage 3 made it larger... this is better than risk. Nice job. Glad I played past 2 levels.
I tried to add a fullscreen button but Kongregate doesn't allow it. You can zoom your browser in for more space, or play on WarLight.net which allows you to use your entire screen.

Wow, less than five minutes ago I emailed Fizzer about a problem with the game, and now I look on Kongregate and it's here? Weird coincidence. I didn't really think it was a game that would ever come to Kong though.

I don't know, this seems a pretty Risky game - I don't know if I can Risk it. Hmm... doesn't this almost seem like some old board game? Anyone care to Risk a guess?

You should be able to change the colors of your AI opponents, i had two of them the same red color and it was very confusing :s

@fizz regarding alaska-kamchatka: perhaps you could make it so that the map can spin? (although it might be difficult)

if there isnt there should be a way to cancel 1transaction ata time cause i accidently put something and had too reset a whole phase

There seems to be a problem for cross-map attacks, at least on the big map - whenever I select a region, and then use the mouse to scroll over to the one I want to attack, it de-selects the region.

5 out of 5. Excelent game!
On further versions o new ones it would be great to add a new tactical level: Once you arrange your armies and give the orders to atack, a hex-based grid could appear where you command the armies towards the enemy territory.
I know the game will drop the "Risk" side of it and its not a new idea (besides the fact that it will take a longer time to complete), but seeing the level of work you putted in this game I cannot pass the oportunity to say this.

To beat level 1 in 6 turns, attack Saudia Arabia the first turn and keep heading for Australia. Attack Ukraine your second turn to get the Europe bonus.
Level 3 has random starts so it can be useful for new players to re-start a few times to get a spot they like. Starting in smaller bonuses is better, since you can get your first bonus faster. After that just expand quickly - you want to catch the AIs while they're still squabbling with eachother. If you're too slow, one gets dominance and then is too big to take down. If you lose, surrender and look at history to figure out what went wrong.

The classic risk was fun, the jump from level 2-3 however... Was FRICKEN AWESOME. It was hard to keep track of everything that was going on but i'd rather have hard than easy :).

Gave it 5/5, great game, but I have to play it on Warlight.net. The screen size limit on Kong has destroyed yet another game.

Wow. For those of us bent upon world domination, you have given us a damn near perfect game. The music makes me feel like Gen. Patton blazing across Europe in WWII.

@fuzzy fish, its not impossible you just need a bit of luck, need to move your troops immidiately to the bad guys and get the last bit of europe during the move, if you get the last bit first you can only do it in 7, and if you get any bad luck your stuffed :-)

I really like the progressive feel of the game. Level 1 seemed pretty meh and basic for a Risk-type game, then level 2 made things a lot more fun with fog and multiple armies. Then level 3 came and things became insane in a good way. Definitely going to come back to play this game, really polished and well designed. Well, besides the zoom out to attack across the sea thing.
