I wonder if i can find this hacked...? But it is relatively easy enough unhacked as long as you keep a homecountry stacked with the excess units...
If you just want to feel powerful and steamroll the AIs, you can just set up a custom game where the odds are stacked in your favor. No need to hack to do that :)

*5/5 for sure even thought that this game got me addicted so fast that I forget to save not even 1 time... and then a Firefox crash!
Now I have to do challenge Europe again... , too bad no auto-save except on warlight.net :/ That why I was asking for an auto save feature in Kong, nothing wrong with this game thought :)

only real complaint I have is about the really (usually) crappy initial starting country... somehow always lturns out to be nearly undefendable :(

@FizzerWL oh, I didn't ever get any cards besides 1/3 for getting a territory. I thought there might have been others for capturing areas or killing players, but I didn't get any... I only played through Level 3 so far. I think you need more levels then. Because the "challenges" should just be challenging, without introducing new content.

I thought this would have low re-playability with the world map just on different difficulties. Then I saw each country/continent has their own map and can customize your own battles. 5/5

I played for an hour or so, Could only get to level 3, Difficulty doesn't scale well, concept and execution is good, difficulty sucks. 1/5

This game really sticks out from other similar games on kongregate because the game actually makes you think about every move because to win you have to have a perfect balance of offense and defense. Move to fast and you'll be stretched out defending ten territory's at once. Move to slow and you'll get outnumbered ten to one. Great game I wish there were more like it.

the AI is good, but it can still be manipulated. for example, on level 4, I snuck a small army to the bottom right corner and led his biggest force (150 armies) in a circle around the Aegean for 40 turns while I slaughtered him in Europe. if he had trapped me and sent those armies to the front I probably couldn't have beaten him.

This game is very well done, i expect spending many hours playing it thanks to FIZZdude
Really good game

Love it, This may be my favorite game on kongregate YET!!! I don't know why it's ONLY got a 4.24 rating. should be much closer to 5. Game of the month? game of the week? game of the year? Best game I've played since joining in 2008, great job!

I find that often if the enemy breaks through your contain and gets to neutral ground, it creates a wild goose chase, where you just follow his path until he either fails to capture enough countries, or the neutral countries run out. I don't see this as any game flaw, I just find it amusing to sit through 10 turns just following the colour which isn't yours. That's what the speed turns are for, aren't they?

What a wonderful game! Quite brilliant. I especially love to watch the history during the Level 3 map. To see what I was thinking and imagine what would be going on in the AI's "head". The best strategy game on Kongregate. And the music! Oh I just loved the music made me think I was really there. The sound effects do the same for me as well. I will always play this game. And more like it if you continue, since this is your first, I expect them to be as good as this one or better! Good show mate, Keep them coming.

Let's say that I've got one opponent left, with only one country - let's say Kazhakstan. Problem is that he has been stacking up an army there for a long time, and has 50 units in that country. Now, I have all the 6 countries surrounding him with 10 troops in each. Since there is no way to do a combined attack (apparently the countries under my rule don't communicate with eachother) I have no way to break him at all. I would very much like to be able to do simultaneous attacks with multiple countries on the same target.

Finally after all these years Kamchatka will be mine!!! Great game, now if only it was this easy to take over the world in real life...

It doesn't matter if the AI doesn't JUST target the player. It is way to aggressive. It attacks anyone in site no matter what. Please, tone down the AI a bit. They're attacking me in like turn 4 or 5.

The concept of the game itself isn't very new, but what makes this excellent is its focus on playability and functionality. Instead of, say, little animated marching armies everywhere, it has zooming, and panning and saves. The only thing I would suggest would be to make it so that the map should wrap when panning.

Yep, I'm amending my previous praise - after a number of plays, the AI is just overly aggressive. I have seen the AI attack other AIs about 1 out of 10 opportunities, and their buildup is only ever on my borders, VERY infrequently on borders with other AI players. They all gun for the human player, it seems, if given the opportunity. I'm finding this game very difficult to be intereste din playing... seems like a lost cause as soon as the AI sees where you're at.

I remember playing something like this on my Nokia some time ago. That game had better look to it. Actually, I remember that game being called armies of war

"Actually the AI treats the human player no differently than other AIs. The code doesn't even look at the IsHuman flag."
Then the AI is waaaaay too aggressive. Seriously, they're suiciding on me right from the start.

Fun game... but games take soooo long! There should also be some different kinds of cards. If you know Lord of the Rings RISK, it has interesting cards. This just has the same 1/3 card, with the same 6 troops every time you turn them in. 4/5
Actually there are 12 different types of cards: Reinforcement Card, Spy Card, Reconnaissance card, Surveillance Card, Abandon Card, Blockade Card, Order Priority Card, Order Delay Card, Airlift Card, Gift Card, Diplomacy Card, Sanctions Card. You want more types than that?

Starting up: Hmm, it's a simplified RISK, Okay I like that board game.
Currently at Level 3: Oh hey, it's an awesome-fied version of RISK, okay I love this game

Really needs the pin to mouse feature of pop up windows removed; at least if possible keep them within the window. I spend more time wrangling off screen windows than I do playing the game sometimes. Otherwise it works splendidly and it is fun to play with all the different modes.
