Yeah, the "crazy" level (5) is ridiculous. It's not fun to lose over and over again. The best I've done so far was get ahold of north and south america, and the iceland/greenland area, but the one color, who i couldn't see, apparently won the tipping point of forces somewhere out in the fog, and suddenly hammered at me with 20 and 30 upgrades from all sides.
It's not mathematically difficult to play the other games, but this level is a waste of time. I've tried it for hours, every year or so now, and can't beat this level. I think it's sheer luck if you do.

oh and not to mention every time an enemy attacks my territory that only has 1 army, with only 1 or 2 armies their self they always win, usually without losing anyone. But when I attack one of there's that has 2 armies with 7 of my own I lose 5.

tough but fair my a**. I understand lvl 5 is supposed to be difficult I mean there are 6 enemies. But when every game I'm either just 2 steps away from an enemy or surround by enemies on 10 different fronts within 4 moves, WTF? Plus they refuse to fight each other deciding to focus solely on me.

i was just like 'wtf?' my ally conquers a land first and instead of canceling my troops just transfer and fight for my ally now? so Im kinda screwed :(

This is the perfect balance of difficult but fair and I like how the game lays out the mechanics for you every time you attack. You know exactly what you are getting into, making it that much worse when that 80% attack fails miserably.

With the bigger games, there comes a point where it's clear who has won, but the game doesn't end for dozens of turns more.

When I was a younger I would drew territories on a piece of paper and would play 'War Light' with a rubber and a pencil. Saying no more to that. Thanks Fizzer for your time and dedication you have invested in this magnificent game.

Sometimes, after watching what my enemies do and what I forgot to do, I really wish there was an "Undo Last Move" button. But I guess the game would have probably been too easy if it was like that. In addition, I could save before every new move to see if that is what I want, but I am being a bit too impatient. Still I am having tons of fun when I'm in the mood of a strategic thinking game like this.

"Warlight" my butt, it's just another version of good old "RISK"! Well made though, I like that you can fast forward and skip to end of turn, beats sitting here watching each move slowly! :)

Ok, very confused. I just attempted level 1 hard badge and the best it seems possible of getting is 7 turns. I blocked them out from leaving Australia, wasn't held back for even 1 turn and took them at least 2 territories every turn. How on earth do you do it in 6 turns?

*Has enemy holed up in Japan* *Controls entire world -Japan* "Eh, guess I'll just do a stalemate, Japan VS. Mongolia and Kamchatka." *Ends the game with 1000 troops invading Japan in 2 directions* :3

You can take your troops from one place your oponente wants to atack, and the next turn, put it there again, this is specially usefull when you are both with something as 100 armys and nobody can atack, and with the airlift card work even better.

It would be nice if the menu auto-centered on the entire game instead of popping up to the right of the countries. Constantly dragging it into a viewable area is pretty annoying. Other than that it's a great game.

Way too hard to pin down the final territories of an enemy. Contending against a second enemy while trying to trap the first isn't the best way to spend thirty minutes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Can we be expecting a second one. Also, maybe make some of the levels like the last two more beatable, but very well thought through. Maybe in the next, ability to combine cards.

i mean come on .. how can he be so ignored by the rest of the AI that he has 1500 deployed armies in round 30. frustrating shit.

history: kill 3 pretty much alone, have half of the map, get surprised by a 250 army of purple. instant realization of wasting time for about 10 minutes. great.

This is tons of giggles and the point that you can build up your forces before eliminating your target is fun, not to mention, just keep a few 10 or more armies in the place that can be hit. :O

>Australia decides that it wants to 1v1 Europe (me)
>Their tiny troop income can barely dent my defenses
>I steamroll them with 50 armies from all sides
10/10 would Australia again

Amazing game, one of the few that does NOT make me want to skip ahead. Battling armies! Love the fog idea too. Time well spent
