For those with issues with the Europe challenge focus on reducing the opponents army gain per turn. Work your way to the right side of the map and then start conquering regions. Also norway and sweeden give a nice army boost

The easy badge took entirely too long to achieve. The popup windows/UI was very clunky and annoying when quick gameplay is a focus.

Level 3 yellow is a cheating bastard, no mater how many of their territories I break they always have enough starting points to put 10+ reinforcements at every freaking location

Europe challenge is totally impossible for me. I even tried to check out some tutorials. But none of them work. Have they changed how the enemy plays so the tutorials won't help you?

i'm newby here at this game. as i saw 'till now: from level2 to level3 map changed bit too much, new passes and terretoris, but quite a good game

Europe challenge is totally impossible for me. I even tried to check out some tutorials. But none of them work. Is the challenge more difficult now?

...inevitably followed by most of my games ending after ~40 minutes by somebody from territory I never even saw showing up with a single army twice the size of everything on the visible board.

The way turns are divvied out in this game makes for an incredibly tedious never-ending stream of huge armies chasing each other around the map continually breaking and re-capturing territory bonuses for places you cant' defend because you can't defend 4 places at once.

Being used to the 2015 version of warlight.net, this game (2011 version) was a painful experience. It was fun, I felt very good with my strategic plays, but having 1% chance with 4 armies to not conquer 1 army (and it happened ...) was pretty heartbreaking. Still, I enjoyed it, also given that I had to try at most 2 times to get the star for any level besides the first. Good game!

This really needs a quicksave at the end of each turn. This is the third time I accidentally lost my game because I hit the "back" button on my mouse.

Played many risk clones, but I find this one better balanced than the original. The simultaneous turn resolution and the being unable to chain conquests in a single turn give more tactical depth (yeah it's still RNG, but there is less random). Good work!

Just like every game of Risk I've ever played. Two opposing forces fighting at the Australian bottleneck for 40 turns until one of them gets big enough to destroy the other. Made worse here by a lack of obvious turn order and the massive power of defenders. Took 61 turns on level 1 because I was never sure I'd be able to attack without giving up all of Asia.

Level 2 Gold Star – This requires beating the level in 18 or fewer turns. Current best: 19
Level 3 Gold Star – This requires beating the level in 25 or fewer turns. Current best: 26
Europe Challenge Gold Star – This requires beating the level in 24 or fewer turns. Current best: 25

VERY poor implementation. Clunky interface, windows opening off screen that you cant see; zoom only with mouse scroll that moves the entire window. INCREDIBLY annoying. POOR
Hey Avatar: All of those issues are fixed if you play at warlight.net. The scroll wheel is a limitation of Kong, and the windows opening off screen was something I fixed in like 2012 but this game is the 2011 version. Sorry about that.

So you will not be defeated upon the capture of your capital? Very well, you asked for it: I SHALL CONQUER THE WORLD! Mwuhahahaha!

The interface should be less verbose. After assigning armies movement and attacks, the player shouldn't have to click three times to end the turn. Attacking from Alaska to Kamchatka is a bit complicated because dragging the map causes selections to be lost. After clicking on Alaska, you have to drag the map and keep dragging until your mouse is outside of the Flash window before releasing it. This keeps the drag but also keeps your selection.
Despite these problems, it's a fun game. I Liked it. 3 stars!
Hey Winter. Attacking from Kamchatka to Alaska is already fixed in the latest version you can play at warlight.net or in the Multi-Player version you can play here at kong. Sorry about that. We're also fixing the two-clicks-to-commit in the upcoming version of WarLight.

@Falcon1319 you have to get lucky and split. If you go through middle east, you're faster and can reach Indonesia by turn 4, then split and get both New Guinea and Western Australia by turn 5 and finish by turn 6.
However, you also have to get Ukraine for the Europe bonus, so yeah, as far as I know, it's a matter of splitting right from the start and hoping you can get both Ukraine and Middle East on turn 1 (I just tried, managed to grab Ukraine by turn 2, and got all of AUstralia by turn 6, unfortunately the pink had spread to all of asia)

Obviously a negative comment will get voted down. However - stupid game! Green takes one turn for no gain, but pink captures North America? I'll wait an extra day for my Kongpanion, thank you.

Level 1 gold star Seems impossible. Turn 1 Ukraine. Turn2 Kazakhstan. turn3 china/india. turn4 siam. turn 5 indonesia. turn 6) western and new guiea. How do you get all of Australia on turn 6?

Looking at the amount of hate comments I'm quite surprised that this game have such high rate. It inherit most flaws of the other risk-style games - oversimplified infrastucture, lack of intelligence, lack of troop coordination, lack of bonus from attacking enemy territory from multiple directions etc.
This essentially diminish "strategic" aspect of the game.

This game is really cool. You put all your 3 years to create this great game and we are playing it. May god bless you. Thanks for this game
