This is just a small demo version of the game. If you click the link in the bottom right corner you will get to the full game with much more function then there are in this demo and of course a lot more maps and thousands of players to play with and against online

Varion. You realize that this style of game has been around for almost a decade and that the game you "used to play" is probably also a clone of a clone of a clone of a clone (and so on), right? This game may not be original, but it's the additional refinements and add-ons that makes games like this fantastic. Quit your bitching.

My favorite is FFA games. The strategy is to have av unchallengeable army were you don´t want war. By that they will attack each others while you expand.

I hated even the first level I got one of his state and he jumped to another it was more like chase the guy than capture all game :D

For anyone trying to get the gold star on level 1, attack from South Europe to the Middle East, while sending a few armies to try to take Ukraine on the first turn. Then, while still spending a few troops to take over Ukraine until you get it, walk the rest of your armies from the Middle East to Australia

Does anyone have any tips on winning, I tend to get overrun by armies of up to 40, and then the army never goes away :(

Best version of Risk out there. If there's one nitpick, it's that it's a little hard to see which countries belong to which bonus group. Suggestion: perhaps whenever a territory is highlighted, a thick flashing border could appear around its group?

this game is great and balanced, just found one little thing that annoyed me.. why is there no multiplayer? i mean you cannot make a risk game so good and not have multiplayer

I find this game impossible I just can't win, every time i get close suddenly they strike into my heart and i can't pin down there troops and they just suddenly mess up the amount of troops i get and then it's over.

HOW TO GET HARD BADGE:
1. Have all of your troops in 1 army and drive down into the ukraine and eventually into china. Once you reach the fork in indonesia, send out 2 armies, if you dont take both at once, or if enemey manages to get into india, then restart.
2. Just start yourself in australia or south america and focus on taking whole regions over just mass territory.
3. This one is the hardest. I prefer to start in the eastern asian regions (i.e east china, india or indonesia) then focus on taking sections. You might want to drive some armies into oponents land to prevent them from getting extra troops, though try to focus on not having your borders penetrated, because then its a cluster.
4. Drive your way through spain/france while using your first couple airdrops to give your teamate reinforcements. Try to confront the enemy large armies with your larger armies before they can take your surrounding less defended regions.
