The annoying thing is that i completed the europe challenge map before the achievements were added, and cant complete it again :/

Only two things about the game that I can gripe about: Hotkeys & View. M and P don't seem to work; It's also a long way for my ADD fingers to travel. I'd also really like a simple undo key for those times I click on the wrong territory and add one too many armies.
View:
The windows often pop up with 50% or more outside of my viewable area. While this is only annoying on most things since you have excellent default selections; it kills me on graphs and map reading though.
Awesome game, exactly what I've been searching for.

Just completed the insane level in 29 turns. This game is just epic. Well balanced, good AI, good learning curve. It kept me entertained for days. Yes, the last two level is somewhat hard, but when you play it enough, you just start to "feel", when and where the AI will attack, so you can concentrate on the weaker points of AI. Tip for crazy level: try to get bonuses and maintain the balance of the two alliance. Tip for insane level: Just survive. :) Speed kills, and roadblocks saves your life. Try to capture as much territory in the North as possible, and separate at least two opponents from you. Then crush the other three. Habet tempus, habet vitam.

@maximumcool: i can do level 1 in 6 turns repeatedly. the other levels may rely a slight bit on luck, but the first level is pure strategy (and there's really only one way to do it, i believe). *spoiler* you need to conquer europe on the 2nd turn

This is an excellent no-frills strategy game that plays like a much-improved version of Risk. The game is easy to understand and does an excellent job of guiding players through increasing levels of difficulty. If you're looking to spend no more than 30 minutes playing a game of global domination, you just might lose track of the hours playing one session after another.

I don't like that you're supposed to beat level 1 in 6 turns because you HAVE to get good luck to do it. It's not a matter of strategy you HAVE to get good rolls and your enemy probably has to get some bad rolls for you to win in only 6 turns and I don't think that's a good thing for a game that is supposed to be strategy. Now, beating it without losing more than a certain number of armies might have more strategy to it. So... I know they're not going to change an achievement now but wanted to provide a little feedback that it seems to involve more luck than skill.

anyone know how to beat the crazy setting on this thing? i've been trting for awhile and can't seem to find a strategy that works

The game is unbalanced. Why can the dominant AI deploy more armies per turn than the game rules seem to permit? Also, it's annoying how nation information boxes aren't bound to the screen.

So your telling me if me an d my teammate unknowingly attack the same place one gets there first so the other attacks their ally...therefore making us enemies. I was unaware of this until my teammate (well enemy now) came rampaging through England destroying me from behind. Fantastic...

Suggestion: All of the methods of attacking territories that wrap around to the other side of the map are kind of hacky. I propose that you add "mirror" territories on the edges of the map where the wrap-around connections are. It would just be a double of the territory on the other side of the map, that also shows the owner and the number of troops; this would be much easier to click on. This would also help on large maps that are hard to view zoomed out with keeping an eye on your borders.

Was blown away by this game. Planned on giving 5/5 until I figured out how to use the History option; Now I photoshopped a 6th star in!

To win Crazy (level 5) is probably 30% luck, but the rest is proper strategy.
1) if you don't capture a bonus by turn 4, restart.
2) if you meet an AI within a 5 turns, restart.
3) Try to balance not killing a specific team, and capturing another bonus; if you can capture and hold a bonus, do it, but don't focus on killing one team (unless they're clearly winning, in which case you've probably lost)
4)If you can't win within 40 turns, you've probably lost.
-- there are other small strategies, but they're quite situational dependent. The main rule is to advance where you can, and do your best not to lose your bonuses.

stop complaining about the crazy one yes it is very hard but after a while i got it the best way to do it is to get Africa and move into Europe lets what i did but if you do really good save and if you lose try to capture more next time. :)

dude its impossible to get the crazy level
i was playing this one now for 3 hours but it ends always on the same way: im unable to hold the lines against the enemys. somehow they are always able to break through. i have to kill 50 armys on EVERY (f)uckin turn. seriously did you ever played it?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the crazy level is a little too hard. i have all africa but then suddenly i have three countries on my border each with rediculously large armies. like 120, 96 and so on. This was my best attempt... so how is it possible?

this game has a bug! on 14 turn PC get +39 on one field and on turn 15 another +36. So 15/3 = 5 so it can have max 30 (5*6) additional units using cards. I have equipped field on every continent except one. So another +9 units PC can have on every turn (max because another player was on field and maybe this player does not have any full continent). So PC use on two turns 75 units (39 + 36) and max units they can produce is 30+(2*9) =48. ???? On turn 39 units is ok (30 = 5*6 using cards + 9 units get per turn) but next turn they must not have any other card and only 9 units can be created. On turn 16 I have still equipped field on every continent except one.
Please can anyone told me what is wrong?

Could the programmer not have the proper turn number in the info bar? Europe Challenge (turn 23) is your last attack for a gold medal.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@pepperpunk If the mute button gets in the way, you can click "more info" on the side with Alaska or Anadyr selected and click on the territory you want to attack.

It kinda reminds me of axis and allies, which is a good thing because they don't make good versions of it for pc anymore. The game itself is simple and bug free which is rare for flash games of this magnitude. Also, the difficulty level is perfect (difficult enough to challenge me, but not so difficult that it makes me freak out and quit in an angry-german-kid-tantrum). I give it 5/5 ;D

When I saw the crazy challenge I said, "Ok, this will be hard but it is doable." But insane? Wow, just wow. Great game overall 5/5. I really like all the different ways to customize with maps and cards.
