Maybe a lower default luck factor would be better... in the last 2 map winning or losing is usually impossible without saving and reloading every turn until you get a "fair" result.

If you liked this, be sure to check out the multiplayer version on the dev's site. This game is kind of like CoD, the singleplayer is fun and good to know the basics, but it's all about the multiplayer

no armies no units no creatures no action just some country lines but still this game rocks !!!!! all thats in this game is simplicity thats what makes this game so cool. I say that there should be really more games like these SIMPLE but AWESOME

Its now 7Am. I've played this for well over 4 hours now, when i finally overthrow the 3rd map in 30 turns, I realize....this game has no badges.... I've played for nothing more than to live out my dream of takeing over the world. And that itself, is the badge, we all wish to be rewarded with. :)

Wow, this game is truly epic. I've only played the first 4 levels, but so far its pretty easy. Looking forward to the 2 last 'harder' levels.

I played for an hour or so, Could only get to level 3, Difficulty doesn't scale well, concept and execution is good, difficulty sucks. 1/5

Yay, Norway on a spree for world domination!
This game is some of the things i come closest to perfect amongst this type of games.
May the kreds overflow you and your life.

i would really love to see an "income-meter" added in the history, just for more awareness, ya know, i dont like to count the units the bots are adding

Well, it sure is something being chased around the world by 3 joined players with a army of 200 breathing at your back, literally... My head got a high price! xD

A real time bar showing the percentage wise occupation of world by different enemies including yourself would be nice.

Insane game! Awesome, it was reminding me of World rebellion II when I was playing the first level, but then I seen it's a lot better even thought it's singleplayer. 5/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm actually at lvl3, and it would be even more awesome if you could choose in which country you want to start. Then I could give 6/5. Now only 5/5&fav.

@Dragonheart: be aggresive, not defensive, if you own one country further than your territories, you aren't in danger to lose your bonus
@Palemoonsdream: You can zoom. And then attack from Russia => Alaska.

This game is very fun, the AI is very good and a lot of playability options. That being said, I think level 5 is too hard for your average player. It's frustrating taking on your 3 neighbors only for that other AI with 100 armies pop outta nowhere... I can only imagine what horrors will await me if I ever get to level 6.

This reminds me of a game for DOS I once played for hours on end. The biggest difference is that this is better and more fun and can be extended without you having to buy the "full version" :-) Only glitch I have noticed is that pop-up windows sometimes show up partly outside the "screen" area, and if you want to attack from one side of the world to the other then you have to zoom all the way out because otherwise the attacking country gets deselected as soon as you grab the map to scroll it. Fix that and it's a 5/5 :-)

@firekom Hey, it ain't so hard! All you got to do is to start spreading and quickly send in all reinforcements! Now you spread into France, Spain, Italy and more at the same time as you quickly send men to rescue Sweden and Norway, everything else will be lost. If you send alot of men to Sweden, they will start making a resistance, and you will win as you at this time have spread all the way to Turkey and everything between! ^_^

Since not all people have the Z in the bottomleft corner, could you add the Y too please? Just a little idea for an improvement.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the europe challenge is impossible, my teammate is eliminated too quickly and i must defend myself again more than 500 soldiers on the north of the england and against 200 in france -_-

the army reproduction should base on each divided lands, instead of a whole area.
for example, after i conquer 1 land, then next time i could have a extra army production, don’t need to wait after conquer a whole area(which have lots of lands in it) and then gain 5 or 7 more army production.
and,add a simple economic system also will be better

This game started off rated as 3.94. You see now? 4.25, and climbing. This is because unlike most games and you play more and more you start to see just how good this game is. Now THAT is an awesome game. Good job, FizzerWL!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
loving the game! Indeed, a lot like risk, although, in insane, I'd like to see something like defense, where when you don't try to take a territory, you get a few armies added to distribute..(and maybe cards getting to be worth more..)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I feel like I'm doing something wrong in the third level, I expand like crazy immediately and grab 4 or 5 territory bonuses then start trying to be protective but then suddenly they're placing twice my reinforcements right next to me. With no way to keep up, even with 3 or 4 cards saved up
Try using those cards to help expand and grab bonuses quicker. The more powerful you are when you meet, the better off you'll be. Also, try to start in small bonuses - going after the big ones first is actually worse since it takes longer to get your first bonus.

Could someone please post a video of them beating the European challenge?? Just to see if it's ACTUALLY POSSIBLE to beat the DAMNED THING!!

I feel like a Kong version wasn't necessary...I've been playing WarLight for awhile haha. But good to see it getting more publicity nonetheless. There's a single player version on http://warlight.net/ too.

This game is awesome. Also @MolochKing, you haven't played Rise of Nations have you? Rise of Nations is an RTS like Age of Empires, not a turned base. Nothing is similiar unless you count petty similarities like they both have civilizations. Only thing I think could be done better is that sometimes the AIs turn goes first, sometimes it's the players turn that goes first. I'm not sure if this has some equation to it or not, but it seems random to me.=
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Had a great time the first two levels, however the third proves to be very challenging... But I'm think a story line for a (possible) WarLight 2?

I still can't figure out how to airlift troops. I click the airlift button, then a destination, and it just highlights the destination as if it was it's first click. Help!

simple concept yet very deep strategy 5/5 This shows how fundamentally games succeed because of concept and ideas not fancy graphics.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
5/5 - The game mechanics are excellent, though I would love to see more improvements. Using the original Risk map is a good idea, but for the sake of longer games I would like to see smaller divisions of the continents. Or use a fantasy map-layout with more continents or so. You should also be able to improve on the graphics. Making the continents pixelated would be cool too. :D
