Great game. Needs a full-screen mode. Also pop-up windows should be central, otherwise I have to keep grabbing them and pulling them to where I can see them.

There's a Game called 'Risiko' here in Germany.
It's kind'a like this.
But with Missions like, get Australia, Asia an South America .. :o

@ Hard Rapula, That's what you get for annexing the Netherlands :P We can't fight for shit. Takes your prowess down a notch.

Gave this 5/5 initially, but having tried many times on crazy to find every time I end up surrounded by massive armies which wipe me I have changed my rating of this game. Pity the last couple of levels are too hard as it is a great game. It would be easier without the fog on crazy.

thought i had insane for sure...then i realized they can come through the bottom of the map also...anyone have a strategy in place yet? The closest I got was holding the bottom 3 check points and working my way up to the top 3. By the time I got Greenland and Kamchatka(I think) one of them had completely occupied Europe. Am wondering if it instead of playing it 100% defense, sending in a raiding party to distract the South Hemisphere might work.

Very awesome game. Totally gave it 5 stars and favorited it. The only thing I would say, is maybe have a better, smoother UI. The current one isn't so bad, but I think a more fluid, clearer UI would make this game pretty boss.

its a great game, until i claw my face to the skull trying to win crazy level (nevermind insane which I havent even unlocked) No strategy seems to employ any give from computer AI's they will surround you and f**k you over at every turn, placing 20 armies out of nowhere when you only have built enough to fortify 5 or 6 on the borders you've managed to scrape together.

Fantastic game, 5/5. However I do not see a bonus number for Japan/Korea? Is that meant to be like that or is it just a mistake in the game?

Sweden worth of 5 armies round and Germay only worth 3 ????? Country that had not fought war in two centuries has military prowness equal to UK ?

Interesting, I love how you added Antarctica and divided Asia into smaller regions in the large Earth map. Makes me for a whole new host of Risk strategies.

5/5 without a doubt
HOWEVER i found challenge europe just right, while the crazy level is... crazy, and i lost interest quite fast. i suggest you could have kept the difficulty level the same as challenge europe or just a tad higher, in different scenario. that would have kept me in it.

When you click a country to deploy troops it will display a small box, into which I can type how many troops to deploy. This box does not show for the first X number of turns. Is that intentional?

Bug? Eliminated by pink, went back through the history. They had about 3 territories and 20 units on a map with only +6 reinforcement cards half way through the game. Next turn they had 150 units in those spots and TOOK EVERYTHING

Found a bug. I used reinforcements card and get 11 armies to deploy. Then I screw up one of orders and clicked 'Start Over'. But then.. i had only 5 armies to deploy..

Finally beat challenge:crazy. That was tough! Onward to insane!!!!!! (on the other hand, I'm beat. Time for bed.) lol!

Great game!
But one thing: If i attack a country on the right side, the window where i can select the number of units to attack will be half or more outside the screen so i have to drag it onto the screen. Can you fix that so the window appears on the left maybe? (I hope you know what i mean)
The attack dialog pops up so that your mouse cursor is over the 'okay' button. This allows for double-clicking when you just want to attack with all armies, which is what you want most of the time. When you need to adjust something, you can drag it back onto the map. Zooming your browser in helps it happen less often, as it gives more space for the game.
I'm not sure what level you were on, but if it was crazy they could have. Teams share a pool of cards - this works to your advantage in Europe but against you in Crazy and Insane. A team of 3 can get a card in one turn.

ok, just had a very quick game, but I bombed too early to see the huge numbers appear. Saying that, I did notice this bug and so here are screenshots. It could be indicative of a larger problem.
Round 2, the AI doesn't have any regions, yet somehow is able to grow by 11 armies. The graph shows only 5, but the step-by-step history shows adding 4 and adding 7.

Please hover over the red button in the top-right and screenshot that. This will make it easier, too, as you'll only need one screenshot - it will show what they're deploying, what cards they played and what their income is. I'm guessing this case is explained by them playing a card, but I can't be 100% sure since the screenshots only show part of the game window. Please include the whole game window - I can't even see what level this is.

So, has anyone been able to beat any of the "Challenge" stages? I was pretty close on the "Crazy" stage, but the computer stopped attacking each other and started focusing on me...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
FIZZERWL, don't get me wrong, you put together a beautiful game here.. It's just that, even when I looked at the history it was wrong. When I looked at the chart, the light blue (for example) was gaining less troops per turn than me by far.. then suddenly, in one turn, it gained 200 troops taking it's total above mine (and also for that turn, the troops per turn WAY above mine). Anyway, if I get some time to play it again, I'll post you a screenshot.
When the game is over, you can go back to that point in history and you'll be able to see the entire map. Then you can add up their bonus income, add 5 base, and also access the orders list in the upper right to see what cards they played that turn and exactly how many they deployed. Add all these up, and it should match up.

I really like the game, but one thing that gets irritating is when you're playing in the normal zoomed-in mode and you go to transfer units/attack, and the box pops up and half of it is off to the side of the screen and I have to drag it over.
The attack dialog pops up so that your mouse cursor is over the 'okay' button. This allows for double-clicking when you just want to attack with all armies, which is what you want most of the time. One thing that helps a lot is zooming your browser in, as that gives more space and makes it happen less often.

Dude...these AI... they have something against me... 2 of them almost died because they refused to stop chasing me around the map... they just didnt give up until they ran outa pieces....thats wack o.O

I managed to beat 1-3 on the first try, level 4 took 2 tries, but level 5 was very hard. Took about 10-15 attempts. Level 6 seems pretty daunting; I think I'm going to get some sleep first.

The volume and music buttons get in the way on the world map when trying to attack alaska from Siberia. It's the only problem I've found with this game.

hello :) ... I'm currently playing this game and finished level 3 just a minute ago - has been nice so far :) ... now up to the challenge mode i thought ... map looks nice ... to the developer/s ... I noticed one mistake but I'm not mad :) ... The game's "Lower Austria" is "Upper Austria" in reality and the other way round :)

Great game. There are some suggestions, especially useful for team games:
1. Give AI players of the same team similar color - easier identifying team groups.
2. In a territory region that contain several sectors: if some sectors are controlled by a player and other sectors are controlled by his ally, (ie: all sectors of this region are controlled by players of the same team), the player controls the core sector should be able to take the army producing bonus. That will eliminate the nonsense action that attacking ally for a full control of a region. But the map files will need to mark core sectors by a dot or some markings.

The enemies on the third stage is completely overpowered. The first and second stages were just the right kind of difficulty, but on the third stage, the enemies on there are buffed.

I wonder if FizzerWL gets tired of telling people how to use the zoom out feature. A lot of questions could be answered if people invested the extra 5 seconds to think about how to solve their problem. It's not like Monopoly, the game isn't that hard.

I like this a lot, its really fun and the Europe level is cool though not particularly balanced for normal skirmishes. For people who are trying to beat Europe airlift to the russians, you have to keep the German busy in the east and secure France at least if you want to win.
I wish you had included an attack queue though, the fact that you can only make one attack with an army unless you go multidirectional is a big step in gameplay down from risk. It gimps turtles and makes the game a bit of a desperate race. One the other hand it does bring some tactical depth to the game so I guess if you could just add the option in a menu?
Also Africa is a bit imbalanced relative to the other continents. North America is too, but it always has been and its big enough here that covering the entire continent is a real challenge, though if you do you basically won.
Finally some variety in the cards would be nice.
Cool thanks for the fun game i'm banging my head against the insane wall.
Thanks! If you play custom games, you can enable multi-attack which lets you travel long distances in a single turn. There are also 12 types of cards available - big variety.
