Sequel! More Maps! Sequel! possibly animations with the battles but overall I like the game but if you decide to add animations allow in the options menu to automatically skip them if you want to just incase it takes too long or your just having like 10 battles a turn

This game is great! addicted after first pla. huge huge bummer though: My games dont save? That makes it very annoying because games take a while to beat and when you have other places to go or do... Ya know? Besides that, amazing. 5/5

Warning: it adds 1 to the number of turns displayed - i.e. when it says "turn 24" it means "this is turn 25, you have already lost the badge". Really frustrating when getting the hard badge :(.

My suggestion for Europe Challenge: There are two things you want to do 1) spread south attempting to take France, Spain, and Portugal (in that order). Once you have those secured, take Italy from the bottom route. 2) While all of that is going on you are going to get Airlift cards - use those cards to send reinforcements TO YOUR AI PARTNER. The AI is a HUGE help in beating this map in 24 turns so you CANNOT let them get overrun. I also passed one of my original groups of 50 and about 3-4 turns of reinforcements to the AI through Northern Scotland to Western Norway.

In the players' statistics, there is even a question mark behind the values of the opponents, if there isn't any fog anymore. Why?

Anyone else have the issue where all of the sudden the CPU opponent takes a section without being able to reach it. I have had this happen several times where my borders are secure and then all of the sudden BAM...purple has 8 armies in the middle of a continent?!?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@bjhamer sort of. total armies received = 5+area bonuses (for self, dont think it counts it if its jointly owned between a team)+cards played. Theres no benefit for part owning an area, an no benefit based on total number of territories (besides tactical and area based bonuses

i can't seem to find the information.... when you recieve armies at the beginning of a turn. Is there a base amount received according to number territories owned seperate to armies received for the areas owned?? In "risk" the boardgame this was the case. (it is 2 armies for every three controlled plus rewards for controlling areas as well)

It took 5 attempts and all my cunning, but I got the gold star on level 1! Put your 5 in S. Europe, send 4 to the Middle East, saving one in S. Europe for next turn when you bump them up to 4 and take the rest of Europe while the rest of your army heads to Australia. You also need some luck, if the enemy can't take one of the territories, they'll be behind without the army bonus.

Maybe I'm doing something terribly wrong but I get pwned every single time in level 3. I'm a pretty good Risk player, but this game is just insanely difficult?

@Derkassierer I couldn't figure out how to win in 6 turns taking while Ukraine on the 1st. I took it later - turn 2 or 3. I suppose you might be able to if you divide your forces turn 1 and get really lucky.

Why can my teammate steal my army on the Europe map? I got 148 troops next to him, in the next round that field belongs to him with all 148 troops. He didnt attacked me, i didnt gave orders, he just stole them. He did nothing with them, the enemy beat the shit out of me and lost the game. This situation happens all the time...

Imo the best place to start in 3 is India ro Myanmar. At turn 3 you have 9 income and you can quickly get whole Euroasia.

Actually pldl on crazy level Canada is the best place to start if you're lucky with your enemies positions. Canada gives you 7 armies and you can very quickly expand to both Greenland and from there easily defend against europe and then expand from USA and down to africa.

@joecool: ok, I disagree with those who set "-1" to your question, it's really hard for me to see that S.Europe connected with Middle East. (right bottom corner of the default territory).
//also, you could take Europe in the first turn too, its risky but possible.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@joecool: Ignore the tutorial, and don't care about the +5 bonus for having Europe. At least not in the first turn. So, you have to attack somewhere else first ;-)

I like to play with huge numbers of people on teams. I wish your allies were the same shade as me or have some other way of determining if he is on my team... Because it is so hard to determine if someone is my teamate or not i just play with fog.
FIX THIS PLEASE

I really liked it until Level 3 where I attacked an area that contained 1 single army with 3 waves of 9 armies and not only did I get crushed each time, but suddenly lost 4 territories with 18 armies that of this enemy that spawned from nowhere. No fog of war, they literally came out of nowhere and did this each time I restarted the level. After 6 games in a row like this, I quit.

awesome game but its hard to send an attack or reinforcements from one side of the map or another (ex. alaska, japan, each side of antarctica)

Phenomenal. Just starting to dig into this game - so much content and I love the possibilities with the custom games. Awesome job. Thanks, FizzerWL!!

Lvl 1 gold star.
Turn 1: place 6 Armies in S.Europe, attack Middle East with all
Turn 2: place 3 Armies in Scandinavia and 2 in Middle East, Attack Ukrain from Scandinavia with all, Attack Inda from Middle East with all, If Ukrain attack fails restart.
Turn 3: Place all armies in india attack Siam with all
Turn 4: place all armies in Siam attack Indonesia. If this attack fails restart as you will not have enough turns left. If the attack is successful the rest should be self explanatory
It took me several tries to get the gold star. you need a bit of luck to get it. but I found this stratagy to work the best.

What I learned from this great game: USA should have airlifted all our troops into Russia during WWII. Though they sometimes act like idiots, the war would have been over in half the time!!!

Getting gold on the first level seems very difficult and totally luck based to me... I love this game, but not being able to get gold on the FIRST LEVEL is eating me up on the inside D:

@FizzerWL: Is it possible to select the initial number of neutral armies per territory? On a real board I kinda like playing without neutral and (amid the gazillion things we CAN edit :p ), I was kinda surprised there was no option to change that. I could imagine people wanting to play with 1 (or maybe even 3) as well. Other than that tiny detail: that's a pretty cool game you created, awesome job! I rarely rate higher than four stars; the fifth is reserved for gems like these. :)

Tip for people playing on the Double Earth map (and maybe others):
In order to transfer / attack "over the edge" you have to zoom out as far as you can because the game deselects the highlighted territory when you drag the map (clicking the arrow doesn't work either, you have to click the target territory). So far, so good, but when transferring from Alaska N, Tasmania S or New Sealand S to Anadyr N, you can't click Anadyr because the sound controls are in the way. Work-around: click outside the game and use your browser's zoom (Ctrl-+ on Firefox) once or twice. I'm not entirely sure why it works, but now you can click Anadyr.

I love this game, but you really need to fix this... It's pissing me off. I was playing a custom game, and i sent a whole bunch of troops at the enemy, with my ally on the other side, and i pressed "skip to end" (i dunno if this would happen whether or not i watched the turn) and i find all my troops basically given to my ally... and it pisses the crap out of me... But otherwise i love your game. Good job.
It's because your ally captured the territory before your attack happened. You can use the "attack only" option. This means to attack if it's an enemy, but just stay where they're at if it's your ally.
