Under rating threshold (show) The only thing that would make this game better honestly is just the ability to scroll around the map with keyboard controls. Sometimes its pretty hard to navigate around without accidentally deploying a troop etc., especially when you are zoomed in. Minor complaint, 5/5 for sure - loving it, thanks!

Under rating threshold (show) Fantastic game with some great modifications to the classic - being able to attack more than one adjacent territory with just one of yours, and having all of the actions happen at once. Also, awesome music! Well done, first game or not.

Under rating threshold (show) One other comment on naysayers touting Risk as superior -- as much as I love Risk, it has glaring flaws when it comes to strategy. Specifically, large-scale battles heavily (and counter-intuitively, I might add) favor the attacker to such a degree that in the end game there is virtually zero point in defending territory. This game is significantly better in that regard.

Under rating threshold (show) 4 Random tips for the European Challenge in under 24 turns: 1) If you don't mind being cheap, reload until you conquer both Northern France and NW France on the first turn. This is a game where the results of your battles on the first two turns determine how quickly you can propagate. 2) Every turn you should be sending small detachments (2 or 3 units per country attacked) in a relatively Eastern direction to conquer new countries. It is as important to disrupt your opponent's bonus reinforcements as to generate your own. 3) Try to cut into your opponent's underbelly at several locations (he is very poor at reinforcing multiple territories at once), then air-lift your reinforcements into a poorly defended country you occupy next to a large detachment of your opponent's forces. 4) Don't bother trying to hunt down every little detachment your opponent has early on in the South and/or West -- you will waste time and troops you need heading Eastward.

Under rating threshold (show) Note to Dev: if you lose the Europe level (not that I did, like a minute ago, in a horrible drawn-out fashion), the game won't officially "end" because of the reinforcement islands. Besides lacking a little closure, I wanted to watch the history without fog-of-war on. Not a big thing, but worth looking at. Thanks for this great game!

Under rating threshold (show) awesome game, just beginning the latter levels and its pretty mind-boggling >.> Although, would be nice if there was something visually showing that we've conquered a continent (or area thats worth some armies) instead of having to click to check. also, would be nice if our Cards would show up in the HUD? instead of having to click to check.

Under rating threshold (show) Whew, finally beat that crazy challenge in 44 turns :D Started in Sudan and quickly took over Africa before I snuck towards Asia close to the sea where I was able to hurt the better team so much, the losing team was able to handle them until I started my final journey westwards again from the far far east. Had to give up certain figths on the way to keep my forces strong and close together. LOVE the game! :D

Under rating threshold (show) When I went to play this I saw it as a risk "remake" but then I started getting into the later levels and realized this game is far far away from risk, this game is absolutely epic with all the different territory's and the level scenarios, I defiantly want a sequel with many many more levels.

Under rating threshold (show) I have a frustrating problem on the Insane challenge: I have armies in Alaska in the upper world, and cannot attack Anadyr N (Russia), because the mute buttons are over it. If I zoom in, I lose my selection of Alaska, meaning I can't select it to attack. I noticed a similar problem on the Europe map, where you have to really zoom in to be able to select the north-east most part of Russia on the map. Can you not put the mute buttons elsewhere in the side bar?

Under rating threshold (show) I think it's quite annoying that both armies get a turn at the same time. Now countries that get "wiped out" will shift along the map and you'll often be just a turn too late to crush them.

Under rating threshold (show) Another way to win Europe: Try to conquer France, Benelux quickly and position your first turn deployments in Scotland. When your enemy conquers western Norway, you can conquer it back. On the mainland, you should concentrate on breaking your enemy's bonuses, after which you can get them for yourself. Don't forget to conquer Turkey as well, but that is a easy area, and be on your watch for the big stacks your enemy has in South France and in Germany.

Under rating threshold (show) Europe Challenge: Be super agressive, use your staring armies to destroy AI armies in France and any reinforcemnt it places. Getting France and Benelux is priority. Use save-load cheat to execute perfect turns, it's crucial at begining that you not make any mistakes. You can use airlifts to support your ally, or you can attack your ally ( when make move select advanced and there will be checkbox "treat teammates as enemies" ). After you increase your income up and cripple AI income it becomes easy. Hope it helps.

Under rating threshold (show) For all that have problems getting gold medals. Lvl 1: Skip tutorial, put all armies in S.Europe and march straigh to Australia, getting Ukraine in second turn. This require a little luck, as you might fail to take Siam in turn 3. Second strategy is to send 3 armies to middle east and 2 to Ukraine in first turn, chance for both attack to succed are only about 20%, but it gives you sure win as you will get 10 armies from turn 2. Lvl 2: Easy to get gold. Lvl 3: It requires good placement, try to get continent asap, avoid to fight with multiple oponents head on early, putting defence on choke point usually make AI to shift his interest elsewhere. One of very usefull cheat for this lvl and next lvl is to use save game feature. Save at begining your turn, put armies elsewhere, and turn and watch what AI do, then load game and you can make your move full aware of what will happens. Prevents a lot frustration :).
