omg this game is nowhere near as easy as i thought it would be, idk why i thought itd be easy the badges dont even involve levels 5 or 6

@ Pippo San: the first one is not luck, it is strategey. attack with ONLY double what is defending on middle east and india. the extras you hold in europe. on turn 2 or 3 you can take over europe AND keep moving forward. giving you the armies you need to push into austrailia and get the turn 6 win.

@Runedude561: You read the directions. As they say, you play the airlift card. Click on the "120" circle as if it were a territory. Since you cant, abandon it, you get only 119.

reaching for the Gold Stars requires LOTS of luck: let's take for example the first level. There's like only one possible tactic (which is rushing to australia through middle east), but of course you need to take ukraine, while keeping your rush and avoiding losing too many troops. Then you need enough luck to vanquish at the first attempt the enemy defense in siam/indonesia (depending on the choices of the a.i. / luck), where all the enemy troops are conveyed. I read too much luck, and not strategy enough.
Still, this game's a gem :)
There are other strategies to do it in 6 turns that don't require getting lucky. Keep thinking about it and you'll figure it out :) All of the levels can be beaten without luck.

I don't understand how they AI get their armies so fuc.king fast. I was conquered by well over 50 units just after the 10th turn.
The AI plays by the same rules you do. When the game is over, you can go back to that point in history and you'll be able to see the entire map. Then you can see exactly how they got their armies.

For those of you who are having trouble with gold star in 6 turns, don't automatically take all of Europe. First get a start up army heading to Australia and 2nd turn you take all of Europe, Gl and think outside the box next time =D

omg after hours of trying and failing, i discovered how to use the reinforcements for airlifting and won the european vacation badge!
now i just have to discover, how i get my stupid ai partner not to block me on the way to the east :-(
Great Game! 5/5, Favorite

please make that one end of the map on the right side can be seen by scrolling to the left side (like a circle you know)

I am trying to figure out how I send 15 to indonesia on the first level... the CPU has about 6 or 7. i get him down to 1, and my guys retreat? wtf... I still had 9 guys left, so that turn was wasted (trying to get the gold medal of 6 turns).

This is a great game, well done Fizzer (4.5/5). To all those that are complaining I would make the following comments:
This is NOT just another risk game. Those who say it is can't have played beyond level 2
Level 1 CAN be done in 6 turns, you just need to think outside the box a bit
Europe Challenge is NOT impossible, I just completed it in 22 turns. For me the key was to airlift reinforcements to red in the east

Level 3 Hard is not the problem, how challenge crazy is as it says. I was doing real well. About 3/5 of the way done. Had Both Americas and Europe, and then the computer gained super spawns for troops and sent stacks of 100 out of Antarctica and Africa. They all teamed against me it was ridiculous

i have found a problem with the 'double earth' map. when trying to attack from the lower tasmania or new zealand into the upper anadyr, you cant, because trying to click on it simply turns on/off the sound. and zooming in and trying to scroll up to it is impossible. still, only a minor problem, but it has cost me several 'local practice' games

blacksoulz: same happened to me, I lost 150 Men to my ally by sending tthem to attack where he attacked a second before. Be very aware that this can happen, my ally couldn't really use the troops since he was surrounded by me by the time. Still managed to beat it in 22 turns though :)
Love the game! 5/5
Now for those challenges... :D

Why the hell did you create a button "discard" ?
Does THIS have a real utility ?
Seriously... Why ?
(False click right now on a dangerous situation, lose my card, probably lose my game, and this button is still useless...)
You can un-discard by using Start Over, or by accessing the red button in the right to remove it individuality. The reason for discard is because there's a maximum number of cards you can hold, and sometimes you don't want to play any. There's no reason to discard a reinforcement card, but the other types can be situational.

As a general tip to people trying for hard badges attack 2 enemy armies with 3 not 4. To those having trouble with the hard badge on level 3. Start in asia near australia, slowly expand in asia while taking australia and antartica. From antartica deny troops to the computer players by taking some territories in africa and s america. Work on denying troops till you can overwhelm the computer and push on all fronts.

To beat the first level in 6 turns you have to put all armies to south europe and make a split attack to ukraine and middle east.

Turn Based Strategy game. The kind who makes you "lose hours" on your computer.
4.5/5 for the game. the AI is good. very good. Always hit you where you don't want to.
Only 1 thing which annoys me a bit. The ability to put reinforcements anywhere is less realist. 50 army appearing from nowhere on a encircled territory... .

Excellent game, very fun and addictive, well done! One complaint, on Europe mission if i queue a command to attack a position, that my ally takes that same turn before my move executes, my troops that meant to attack are given to my ally despite this not being my intention. A confirmation box, to maybe simple sending the men back to the country they meant to attack from would be great. Still, 5/5 well done on the game.

I believe there is something wrong with this game. I usually dominate at Risk games, but even if I get half the world the enemy will suddenly drop upwards of 170 units on me per turn. Usually in the form of 60, 60, and 70, but I have seen as high as 120. I just don't produce that many units a turn and I don't know how the computer can either unless the computers are not fighting each other. Which means, that as I burn down 1 (or 3) computers the others are just building up and waiting for me to show. So maybe that is the trick (beat down only one opponent after securing some land and take them one at a time. I will try one more time, but I think this game is broken logic wise.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it is actually simple. send 2 armies at the ukraine, and 3 at the middle east on the first turn. with luck, you will get both territories. continue in a beeline for australia, and win in 6

This is an amazing game, the best one of it's kind so far!
But.. is it possible to beat the first level in 6 or fewer? The only possible way, as far as I can tell, is in 7
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For people having trouble winning, don't play purely offensively or you will have trouble. I beat my kids in Risk every game because they attack too much. Never leave a single unit behind after an attack; you're begging to lose that country. Keep units spread around defensively and when you are offensive, killing off units is just as useful as winning a country.

It's a little frustrating when all the AI teams are attacking you from all sides, yet they let one AI leech off the back becoming an unbeatable opponent.

I put a comment on here IffBeaFate about warlight.net, the creators site. It is AMAZING. Maps galore, the settings on game play are wide and varied. By far the best type of this game type on the the internet by a million miles and multiplayer 1 v 1 2 v 2 3 v 3 , tournaments, custom games etc etc. ASTONISHINGLY GOOD and guess what.... It had 5 minus clicks within the day. I don't know if some people just click - because they don't like me, but check our warlight.net. Takes a bit of navigating at first but you'll be glad you did.

To beat the first level in 6 turns:
1. Put 5 armies in S. Europe. Attack the Middle East with 5 armies.
2. Put 4 armies in S. Europe and 1 in the Middle East. Attack Ukraine with 4 armies and India with all your Middle East armies.
3. Put 10 armies in India. Attack Siam with all your India armies.
4. Put 10 armies in Siam. Attack Indonesia with all your Siam armies.
5. Put 10 armies in Indonesia. Attack New Guinea and Western Australia, using 4 or 5 armies on the country with 1 army and the rest of your armies on the other.
6. Split your armies between New Guinea and Western Australia so that you have almost equal numbers in each. Attack Eastern Australia with all armies from both countries. Done!
If you lose two armies on the first turn, start over (you can actually still win in 6 turns, but it's less likely). If you fail to take over any country, start over. Steps 4 and 5 are the most likely to fail, but you should still get a gold star in 3 or 4 tries with this method.
