Tip for getting big parts: fly behind a battlecore (all of their parts are on the front or sides) and have beam weapons; this should usually get you something.

I had the biggest shellcore without cheating, and no, no one has beat my score.
I dont remember acc info but i got a screenshot of it... i couldnt fit another piece if i wanted ha.

The trouble with getting large parts, is that the large battlecores are only 4 parts, and its rather easy to destroy the shell entirely. A part needs to stay on the core for it to drop.

@tonezone11: If I get a cool part and I don't find another symetric one, I sell it! hahaha! but, I realized I don't need big parts to make a powerfull ship, big parts just make the ship look more badass...

I very well may have won the unofficial design competition, although it was originally intended to outperform the Intrepid, it has exceeded all of it's predicted stats.

Hey Guys, where are you getting all the giant parts. I got one off a mission, but only get smaller ones, even after taking down dead zone monster ships.

@lunak well your weapons have improved alot :-) the amount of time to put our ships together i think we have both wasted to much time on this lol, but cant wait for the second instalment :-) nice to see you on the tanks too :-)

I wish, that in the next ep. have the invert option in the yard, I can't make a symetric ship with some parts D: this realy bad to my symetrism addiction...

ive cut through really long deadzones, its very hard, need lotsa speed and butloads of regens, i used about 10 core regens and 10 shell regens(parts not howmany times)

@Andyhu: I admit that you would probably beat me with your speed alone, but I gotta say that I have upgraded mine and now it's got 102500 shell. Also I am mostly going for survivablility, and I have less weapons because of the fact that only 15 fire. Here is the new model

@lunak well it has huge shell but the weapons are lacking. and it is so slow you would be eating dust. i would eat your shell for breakfast with my battery of mark2 beams and missiles and if i got bored i would run away with over 600 spead and over 60 acceleration :-P

btw, dead zones do % damage, not number damage, u could have the most core and shell of anyone and still die quickly (in other words, u will need lots of speed and core heals to get through deadzones)

My only real complaints: 1. no badges (seriously, a goddam clever badge would be "Medium - 15 points - get a ship shell of over 20 k or something) and 2. we cant do multiplayer and battle our ships together...

@banana: You can have as many big parts as you can find, I have 12 on my ship... Its just takes time to find them all...

There's a glitch in the ship yard. If you have 16+ parts you can't scroll to see them all, you have to add some to your ship, leave, and come back to see the rest.

@felipsed you get the big parts by hunting in the deadzones, you need big ship with good weapons and be in and out, best pace to hunt is under haven3 :-)
@lunak post a pick or it dont count :-) anyone can say they have 95k shell lol not saying you havent but we all wanna see it just to marval at it :-)

oh, and if u go to the top left corner of the real map (sector 25-25) then go to the top left corner of that, activate all ur turbo (decent boosted speed needed) and just hold up left (a+w) you will reach it while only taking 2 hits of poison (make sure u have some heals and shell boots rdy when u get there though, and that enemy commander is a badass

the enemy commander in the off map 'intro screen' map has a(at least 1) item that cant be found anywhere else, it is a oval item that gives u a damage boost clickable (he may have others that are unique)

One of the ~2% of Kong games that won't run on my computer. Yes, using flash 10 and firefox 3.5. It loads partially and then I get a black screen.
