They air mobs are too strong. You focus on a maze and some air mobs just wipe you away in one wave .
Besides that, very good game. Tower swap would be comfortable.

more gold from higher level mobs that take 40k hit points to kill would be nice; and grinding gold to get your towers upgraded is a bit of a chore.; the air killers need a boost....takes al your effort to get the ground type mobs killed with a maze then the flying mobs come in and just own the place. I'm guessing when i start paying gold for one time use for upgrades and not try and save it for permanent tower upgrades i'll get bit farther then wave 22ish; and i like the rocks for building mazes but it does get to be a chore.

I haven't seen a yellow gem in SO. LONG. I do reach a point where I've got to delete towers in order to lose, but only on the normal setting. Even with the perma upgrades for the towers around 13, I can't get a good strategy running for hard mode. It's hard to stay engaged without a save. Key to flyers is having a deadly cold tower (or two, eventually) and saving your hypnosis/boost spells for when they're in the midst of the cold. Necro towers are necessary for damage as health increases exponentially. Teleport and vampire's kiss will SAVE you. Don't bother with winter stunner once you have the achieve money.

Since you want to have your damage surrounding the center due to flying, wouldn't some sort of swap function be good? It's so easy to mess up the maze trying to do it as it is now...

is there any trick to air waves? i'm at wave 70 and every air wave i have to buy lives in order to survive even though i get every life i can from the land enemies with my vampires

Just hit level 200. Have 1040 lives banked, 153million points. Started game with all gems at level 12 and now they are level 17. Still looks like I will never lose, but cannot save :(

there is no higher tower with yelow red blue combination
i think: when you play too long you have overflow of yellow gems it should be balanced

I wish there was a save for games... I have been playing a game for a couple days now, and I cannot close out my browser or I'll lose the game. I am on level 150, have a crazy maze set up that I don't want to lose, and 450 lives. I don't see an end anywhere in sight, but I want to go as long as I can. Definitely took some grinding, but once things were leveled up decently I seem to be unstoppable.

A quality button would be good, I've got to a silly level and now the pc is struggling.
Also, at this point in the game I'm now overpowered (hint, get 3 teleporters around your 4th way point) as can just leave a level on, maybe a boss level... something different every now and again maybe...
As it is this is an awesome idea on the genre, just needs tweaking on the next episode.

Do monsters get armor as they level? I can't see a stat for it but it would explain why 30 20 dmg towers do less than 3 200 dmg towers at later levels.

One of the "Tips" given in the game is that "You can drag towers anytime!", but in reality you can not drag while enemy is attacking.

My game started to lag after I used all my spells, but after like a minute or so of lagging it started back up again with all the time on my spells having elapsed. I am guessing that even though the display was stopped , the timer on the spells was not.

I move stuff around, and I end up having shots that come from thin air. Moving towers seems wrong, there's a grey square and the tower is far above it. Just let me drag-and-drop the tower.

Would be helpful to have a clearer explanation of what tower upgrades do and how to construct them. Would be good to be able to swap tower locations on map (trade places). Unit strengths seem to go up to quickly on Hard -- just a very big jump. Combining two towers of same type -- isn't clear that there is any big advantage -- and the rocks start getting in the way. I like the game, but feel a bit frustrated at not being able to master it.

Lighting spell should be changed, it becomes useless verey fast. It does little to waves 20+ and nothing to 30 or 40+. It would be niice if it did baes damage + percentage, let's say 1 or 2% with each level.

ok, some thoughts to make this a really great TD:
Savefunktion!
Towers should not earn xp from kills but from hits, otherwise you get one mega tower and a bunch of low level towers, because the tower with biggest dmg is gonna get the most kills and then get even more powerfull, and so on.
Since the mobs are getting stronger the towers needs to keep adding damage when leveling up, now, somewhere after lvl 15 the towers just levels up but gets no extra damage.
The air mobs needs to be balanced, it really sux that you have to rebuild your maze every time to stand a chance in the early levels.
And some more ways to upgrade your towers would be nice, add speed, freezepower etc.

Air waves are impossible. Killing ground forces before they hit number 4, and an air wave comes in and destroys me even though I move all my towers and use all my spells. Anyone who hasn't noticed this SUCKS at making mazes and can't beat the ground forces, so they don't notice how much more powerful the air waves are.

Am I the only person that doesn't seem to get this game? There doesn't seem to be any indicator as to where you can and can't build. Why can I suddenly build on the road? What is the advantage of combining towers? What does it mean when towers turn to rocks, but appear to fire still? I just don't really understand it enough to develop anything related to a strategy...

Shark, if you don't want to even out the air guys, then we should be able to choose our three tower per wave
cause without air gem it can quite quickly become too much
but it's the same with the ground guys, they get tough too fast like suddenly tough

You should be able to pick the color of the 3 towers you put down at the beginning of every round. It's always fun when it's time for the air raid and I've yet to get a single purple tower.

How to get far in this game: choose a map with 1 loop. Make 2 distinct paths (1-3-5 and 2-4-6). Put a perfect deadly cold tower. Have patience to remove rocks + rocks.
Teleport is good, necromancer the best.
if u know another way (especially a better way to remove rocks) pls tell me

game is good in general, but its unbalanced system makes me aggressive. i always start to play, give it some strategy, and then comes a level that is way too strong. i feel that i can't do anything.

Instead of 'ground only' towers and 'air only' towers, 'ground only' towers should do 'normal' damage to air units, but 2x damage to ground units.

I didnt know that the auto timer could be turned off for the longest time till finally I went looking for an option to turn it off and then I found it. Then I wondered who thought it was a good idea to have in the game at all in the first place :/

Though, admittedly, if I see it right the time delay for the stun and tower turbo is 180+active time. I think I can say that for a lot of us, if we spend the time on the game to upgrade stun 170+ times (>1450000 gold) we want to be able to freeze those stupid fliers permanently. The fact that as soon as everything dies the countdown stops means if you really want to exploit it to game breaking you would have to be extremely careful and precise.

Really people? How many of us are going to complain about the auto-start timer? Here's an idea; TURN IT OFF. It's one of the settings. It's also one of the first things I do when I start. Though I would appreciate it if I could set it to default off instead of having to turn it off every time.

Was a 5 at first, then that pointless 10 sec timer screwed up a bit so I dropped to a 4. Then it did it again while I was moving the mouse because of lag!! 3. And I'm being nice.
