Loss due to bomb hits is higher than the benefit capture .. which gets massively worse when you increase your balloon lift. This 'upgrade' is actually a downgrade. Bombs fly VERY fast as you accelerate and hide in clouds and explosion smoke, making some hits impossible to avoid, so keeping a fair collect/pop ratio is pretty critical.

The pause button is "p" like almost always. I don't see how it is Challenging though, I made it to deep space my first try.
