We need more games like Tower of heaven in this day and age. It accomplishes in 8-bit what some games can't accomplish with high-def graphics.

What amuses me most is that I can totally see this as a Japanese flash game, what with the Japanese name on the title as well. Music kinda reminds me of Zelda music.
5/5

Fun game. Easy to beat, good music and graphics. My only complaint is it's a little short. The people say this game is hard have not seen a hard game yet.

I loved it! I thought it was the perfect difficulty, and I can't wait to make my own horrible levels... >:]
The music was fantastic, too! Bought the album!

Sometimes i get so stuck with the music i stay on a lvl JUST TO LISTEN TO IT!!!! it's funny on speed run mode though ^^

In a game like this, where you might die several times in a single level, it's nice to see see a very brief death sequence. Thanks.

A game that so seamlessly combines its incredible game mechanic with a damn fine metaphor is an easy 5/5. All the guys that worked on Braid could learn a thing or two.

wow this game was awesome because it deprives you of little things as you go on and then gives them all back even so i didn't want to move left it was actually somewhat difficult and deserves badges for sure!

I really love the game, but I'm suffering some serious lagging issues where the character will keeping going forward after letting go of a button, or just simply freeze up and not move. Besides that I love it. 4/5

A little short for my likings. The difficulty was nice, a little annoying at times, but the rule to not be allowed to see the rules was plain useless, there were barely any you had to remember. I was starting to expect a "no jumping right" rule to go along with "no walking left." I would definitely like to see another game such as this.

Pretty awesome game. If you're an excellent platform-jumper, it may not last long, but otherwise a pretty entertaining experience. :D

that was serisously too easy... i finished the game in 10 minutes -.- i dont get why people say "omigod, its so frustratingly hard"...

SPOILERS:
The three secrets are:
1. On the level where you first cannot move left, continue past the door and you will eventually fall through the floor to the bonus room.
2. On the level where there is a moving platform you have to follow, when you jump off it to reach the door - do not enter it; instead, jump back on the platform as it scrolls off the right of the screen and you enter the bonus room.
3. Right before you WOULD enter the last door at the end of level 11, jump down. Just after falling back into level 11 again, you will land on a doorway. That is number 3.
The changes to the ending are that a) the dialogue is different; he just says stuff about the tower is bare and the riches and stuff. b) at the end of the credits, there is a picture of the character with a butterfly; and then a picture 'Fin' for ending which just shows lots of butterflies flying from the broken tower.

I died 57 times, and found all 3 secrets on my first runthrough - but I was lucky and beat the hard levels on 1 try each.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It was actually pretty easy. The people who say they died more than 75 times are kinda fail. I loved it though. It reminds me of a game outlined here (http://www.squidi.net/three/entry.php?id=88), except for the rules staying in play and the lack of secret areas. 5/5

If it weren't for the music, i wouldn't have had anything urging me to continue and try to beat the game, this game is an excellent example of how to make a game extremely frustrating, yet still enjoyable. I definitely give this game a 5/5.
