I love how you're scored based on the quality of your creations, rather than on the timeliness and accuracy of the order. I will say though that I wish the item designs were implemented differently, that designs or templates could be set up to execute automatically, rather than having to pick through menus for each individual piece. The inability to quickly swap from one weapon project to another takes away from the value of being able to multitask at all. I also miss convenience upgrades for the actual creation process and could see upgrades to the shop's battle weaponry or means of automating or making more convenient certain steps in the forging process. Imagine a device to let you judge the straightness of a bow string, or alarms when ore has been smelted.

Well not timing points per say, but have a bigger chance of your soldier dying because it's weapon broke in battle because you didn't repair it.

If they die they reset to level 1, the boosts they'd get by leveling up should be minimal like say +0.5 damage/health per level. So if you make perfect equipment and they survived the attack, they'd be a little stronger the following round but not enough to take away the challenge of the game. Weapons that don't break should be allowed to be kept also. So you can equip your soldiers with your best weapons, and add say a full durability trait to them, and if you don't repair them and make new weapons needed for the round you lose timing points.

All in all I gave this game 3/5, the level plot was straight forward but sloppy, the idea of building weapons was good enough for me to like this game, but not love it. The last level should of been how all the areas were, instead of levels. 50 levels could of easily been 10, by making each area like the ending. 5 really strong opponents, next area. Which would make more use of creating perfect weapons. The surviving soldiers should then be reused in the next level, having each of the 1 - 5 soldiers level up with the blacksmith as levels were completed.

Barely into the game, and I can say it is absolutely EPIC! I usually don't like the "take orders, make stuff" games (mainly because until now they've been all about food), but this game is awesome and I would like to see more like this. Perhaps you guys could do a racing game where you build cars and see them race? That could be interesting... It was just a thought. But still, this game is awesome. I love being able to see that the weapons I am making actually do something.

he should use those huge bricks of emerald to make weapons. :| also, tip for all players; try to get the chest on every level. spend expensive resources, make rare weapons and use durability boosting material, cause if you get the chest you will just get MORE resources, recipes and material, crucial for getting the next chest and growing ever stronger.

Pro tip: Last few levels hold on to crystals and buy a bunch of heart(health) guard, staffs, etc, by the time you get to Dudley you'll have a crap load of crystals to build all weapons with crystals and a crap load of health on every soldier, and "hard" achievement completed, no matter how crappy your smithing is.

Suggestions for developer:1)"replay day" button after each unsucessful battle 2)More weapon parts available in shop, since in it's current state the shop is only useful for buying ores 3)Ability to choose soldiers, instead of forging weapons for random parties with ineffective elemental bonuses

You pick epic games, mix them epically, put some epic effort and what do you get?
An epic lesson on how to make an epic game

Bah! I thought thisc was going to be an actual game...instead its one of those stupid papa's clickathon's. I wish there was a rating lower than 1 star simply because of the deceptive game title. Hate all you want, but bobby is right.

You somehow managed to make the papa game type even worse. You are quite skilled.
It seems nice in theory, but it's the same as the papa games, just with even more tediousness.

While I appreciate the different direction of this game (fantasy/monster genre as opposed to another restaurant-based version), I am simply tired of the same style of game. It is a good game in and of itself, but if you've played all the others, this is more of the same. 3/5

Excellent and original game. Love it, i havent tried other papa games, but if their games quality are all like this one, it wont be long before i'm a big fan. 5/5

While I was playing the game randomly started to be weird, showing me just a grey background, and wouldn't respond to any buttons. Is that my computer acting up or is it the game?
I use Firefox on a mac

I like this game alot, 5/5 stars, but only thing that annoys me is that move you have to do when you melt metals. it turns me on so damn much..

A vast improvement over the prior papas games, however I'm still not much of a fan of them. They have a long play time, but very little replay value as they are far too repetitive to even want to complete once. Good game, good concept, good visuals, good sound, but not for me. 4/5

Very cool and innovative game. If there was one thing I wish was in it, it would be the ability to try battles more than once.

Mace need improvement. Placing center spike/pin on the mace is almost impossible, it just keeps moving around center, but never in the center.

This is the first time management game I have enjoyed, Only thing I would like in any updates would be upgrades that you could earn or buy that would allow you to get better scores on building and making handles.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What I wouldn't give for some of those upgrades from other games that helps you create the items faster and better... Maybe something that auto places grips, for example.

For great accuracy when dropping things: while holding an object with the left mouse button, right click the screen. Your mouse cursor will appear and you don't have to hold your left mouse button anymore. Line up the pointer to the center of the weapon you want to attach the object to, and left click that spot. Should get perfects nearly every time.

Nice game, pretty original in terms of what to do, and such. Only negative point is it gets repetitive really quick. I'm not done yet and my hand feels like it's going to have carpel tunnel. The game isn't hard nor difficult like the achievements seem to make it out to be, the only difficult thing is giving it your undivided attention for every single second you're playing or your guys die. Very redundant, but I love the "game", but not much to go on after the woo of "new and original" passes. The levels feel repeated over and over again with not much new to them. As a concept this is amazing, actually playing more then a few levels, very boring and grueling process, had me as level 1, lost me after 10.
