these people are really specific on what they want on their pancakes. "4 butters. syrup. blueberries. but NOT before the syrup. spaced evenly. 50% cooked on each side. you're my bitch. do it."

This was the first of these Papa's games that I could really get into and I was having fun up to the point where drinks were added. It felt very jarring to suddenly have to master another whole setup and to have wait times go up by so much. I get that you're going for scaling difficulty, but it felt too abrupt.

@Rhill: Maybe all the people who like these games and rated it high enough that it almost averages 4 stars are responsible for downvoting your pointless comments. Just a thought.

How come comments get downrated that bad when they rightfully point out that papa's games are just plain boring and are just all the same but with a slightly different packaging? I cannot think of any explanation other than the developers doing it themselves..

I was like..."A pancake making game? How dumb...Let's give it a go." Two hours later..Addicted to making pancakes. Good show, sir.

Flipline Studios, if your reading this, I think the next addition to the Papa's series should be a cafe sort of deal. Make Coffee, Cappucinos, Ice Caps, etc.

When it said "Help Prudence AND Cooper" in the description I thought for once we might at least get a helper, but alas we do not....

once you have the pancakes, waffles, and french toast it reminds me of that song:
Do you like waffles?
Yeah, I like waffles.
Do you like pancakes?
Yeah, I like pancakes.
Do you like french toast?
Yeah, I like french toast.
Do do do do can't wait to have a mouthful of waffles!

I think a VERY cool idea for a future release would be to be able to build a sort of empire of food chains (e.g. starting out with one store, earning enough money to branch out into other stores).

If I have to hit ten pancakes with two shots per round in five rounds, and i miss one, don't make me sit through seeing 7 more pancakes fly through the air when i can't win. :P

thanks for extending the wait time! the other suggestions may be something to consider for a bigger game with co-workers and a larger variation of food.

Apparently, the customers are of a very specifically picky breed... Carefully arrange each piece of fruit and whipped cream to ultimate distribution? Get 94% build. Throw the whole onto the pancake and just be happy that you managed to hit the plate in the first place? 100% build. I'm starting to suspect that these guys are so hungry from eating nothing but junk food that they consume the plate as well. Seriously, we need a Papa's Saladeria, just to give these fellows some vitamins!

And in a second comment because I can't write more than 100 characters in one:
It's a great game, I really enjoy it. Entertaining, easy to understand but it gets harder to play all the time. I just figured out a nice routine and then got the drinks addition - now it becomes tricky :)
(I also support the demand for star customers to be able to order "the usual")

The tutorials are a bit annoying - they won't let me do anything else (like save the pancakes on the stove when learning how to do drinks) and they mess up if I have already done parts of them before they start (like pouring the batter on the stove when learning how to add stuff to the batter).
Also, please be a bit more leninent with the rating for the build section - it's incredibly hard to gett 100% - sometimes I don't even know what I'm doing wrong and I still only get 99%. And there's just so much damn whipped cream, I can't help if some of it spills ;)
My last wish: please let us see which of the posters and inventory items increase waiting score by how much - I have lots of them and it would be nice to know which are the best.

Well. I reached 16. It's very sad that I'm done. An incredible series and this one is the best. Amazing. Better be another coming.

Xandra, this is a pancakeria! If you wanted French toast, you should've gone to Papa's French Toasteria next door. Also, stop being so picky. If you're going to moan that the food is slightly left of the centre of the plate, then, quite frankly, I don't want you as a customer. GTFO.

Your game is glitched. THe black kid regularly glitches one of his pancakes back to the stack. Also, your blueberry pancakes are glitched on the grill.

The drinks almost ruin the game. They add too much time to preparing the order which pretty much kills the cooking and waiting portion. I have a few solutions. (1) It may be uncharacteristic of the series, but be able to hire someone to make the drinks for you but they have a weekly salary. (2) If you want to keep that preparation, then be able to hire a waiter. (3) Make the customers have a longer wait time.

Upgrade shop: only 5 upgrades, plus 11 hats. Furniture shop: page upon page of items, most of which "improve waiting time" without any quantifier that could discriminate between them or allow any estimate of cost effectiveness. Dozens of wallpapers and floors with no use whatsoever... It's getting worse with every game and you don't seem to care. Voted 1, moving on.
The general idea is that large expensive items make a bigger difference, small inexpensive items make a little difference. We didn't want to get too technical with it so players didn't have to do any number-crunching, but maybe we'll add more information here in future games, so players can come up with a good strategy with their purchases.

@ Musickid43 "A new papa's game, there goes my day" - yeah right, my week @ least -.-
and a side note - its kinda odd that my pancake house walls are plastered with pizzeria adverts -.-
