A lot of people seem to favor the shotgun, I went a different route.
For me the best hand gun you can afford + self defense and the detector got me through almost half the areas. From then on the RPG + napalm grenades and rage worked a treat.
I also had a bit of lazy fun and found some free space, set a very large mine field and merely taunted a whole bunch of zombies and a couple of bosses to there demise.
Can't wait to inject a few bosses with rage injections and watch them fight - would have been handy to know when facing three of at just over 10 min into survival - (but that's what I get not reading the game comments till now! ... lol)

Good game, a little too easy once you have the method down... But I love this combination of Dead Frontier type fighting with Rebuild elements - great! In fact, more 'Rebuild' type games are high on my do want to see list - it could use more elements of survival to it, people - farms etc other buildings... The whole factory thing doesn't really make a lot of sense... But I enjoyed it all the same :D Would certainly play if a 3rd is made.

lol, anyone else have a glitch in decision 2 where you close the inventory and all of the sudden your money count just starts going up and up and up without stopping?

It really needs some sort of map or fog-of-war system to help keep track of previously-explored areas. Right now exploring is a huge pain in the ass because it's so hard to tell where you've already been.

awesome game I'd like to see being able to buy NPC recruits in the future to help you defend places maybe add cities that you can manage ?

Fantastic Game, 5/5 and favorited, just a few suggestions for the possibility of Decision 3. 1) Make the epic guns better in every way. Currently the desert eagle is arguably worse than it's predecessor. Sure it deals 10 more damage but I feel like 10 shots at 60 damage is better than 6 at 70 damage. Besides you need a lot of shots against hordes, and you fight a lot of those. Same problem for the epic rocket launcher having a longer reload, the other rocket launcher will 1 hit kill anything anyway. It's only problem is it's slow reload time, making that reload even longer does not help. 2) Make a melee weapon skill, 3) When I hack an AtM it tells me I got "x" amount of money (x5). Does this mean the money I got is now multiplied by 5 and so I have 5x more than I thought. Or does this mean the original number was multiplied by 5 to give me the result it tells now. Just tell me how much money I got and leave it at that. 4) There needs to be more uses for money in the late game.

So using the Rage bullet, I managed to get one boss to kill another boss before I'd "detected" the second boss. Now I've got an objective to kill a boss that's at 0% life that's not marked as completed. Bug?

I love this game. So much is right with it. I have some comments though for better game play for the casual player:
1. Just make all action in the daytime. A hard set piece becomes insanely difficult at night. It's not a lack of skill; it's not being able to see what you're doing. Not everyone has perfect eyesight either.
2. You can't pick off the surrounding zombies BEFORE you take on the boss in some instances. Why take away the ability of a player to strategize? A player should have the option of carefully preparing for boss encounters to prevent taking on 30 zombies and the boss at once. A careful and methodical player should be able to cleverly dispatch bosses easily. There is too much hope-and-a-prayer built into this part of the game. boss fights require a lot of running and it's too easy to be overwhelmed.

Are zombies supposed to spaw next to you? Because I was doing a recon mission for an area that was 90% dangerous. I was doing well, but then zombies starting spawning right next to me. Is that supposed to happen for highly dangerous areas? I would like to note that I wasn't near the edge of the map or near any potholes. I woulwalk a bit and a zombie would spawn right were I was.

NASTY BUG, if you are moving and holding down a direction key and pause it the game will continue to go that direction even if you are not holding anything down.

wow nicelly done game i like everything about it but you could still use some more items like silenced weapons or more survivors more kinds of bosses more money involved maybe sniper towers that ar simular to the gun nests and all that like the different npc enemies like having werewolves and more varieties instead of just zombies could tottally get into the kongregate's top 25 games 5 star ;)
